Proverbs 30:1 KJV

A few days ago I shared about "Listen". We need to spend more time listening and less time on speaking; unless you're prayerful, you're a preacher or motivational speaker, or a teacher. To speak, spoke or spake- may seem to have the same meaning; but the truth about what it says..., it's all about talking.

I- When God speak- we listen- 1 Samuel 3:9-10 KJV [9] Therefore Eli said unto Samuel, Go, lie down: and it shall be, if he call thee, that thou shalt say, Speak, Lord ; for thy servant heareth. So Samuel went and lay down in his place. [10] And the Lord came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth.

II- When we pray or talk to God- He listen- Matthew 6:7-8 KJV [7] But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do : for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. [8] Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

III- When we read the Bible, God talk to us- Luke 24:32 KJV [32] And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?- By Ely Roque Sagansay

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 29:1 KJV
[1] He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.

Reprove or reproved are words that can mean hurt, criticized, pain in one's back if such person will take it negatively. But to be reproved by a faithful friend, a good mentor, a love ones or a pastor could be a starting point for a wise man. You need to listen:

www.ely-roque-sagansay.com

I- Listen to the Holy Word- Deuteronomy 12:28 KJV [28] Observe and hear all these words which I command thee, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee for ever, when thou doest that which is good and right in the sight of the Lord thy God.

II- Listen to the Holy Spirit- Ephesians 1:13 KJV [13] In whom ye also trusted , after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

III- Listen to the Holy men and women of God- 1 Thessalonians 2:13 KJV [13] For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.- By Ely Roque Sagansay

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 28:1 KJV
[1] The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.

The Christians are the only group of people who claim to have won or embrace the victory while retreating or fleeing. It happens to Joseph when tempted by Potiphar's wife. To FLEE means to...

F- Flee from sin and Satan's temptations (resist the desire to submit to Satan and sin) but to God.- James 4:7 KJV [7] Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

L- Leave the lust of the flesh-
2 Timothy 2:22 KJV [22] Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart..-  By Ely Roque Sagansay

E- Evacuate yourself from all evil appearance- 1 Corinthians 6:18 KJV [18] Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

E- Exit to any unpleasant, ungodly, and untrue... 1 Corinthians 10:14 KJV [14] Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 27:1 KJV
[1] Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.

Tomorrow is another day, but today might be it last, we will never know what's in tomorrow, though we may see it brightly or it may be covered by the darkest night- tomorrow is nothing but a word for now as you know...

We may expect great things in our tomorrow, and trust God's hand in such expectations; no one can grasp the reality as compared to what the moment can give, but we must learn to forgive ourselves for what tomorrow may brings...

We may care for our future and we may always look up to a brighter tomorrow, and having a positive mind set will not give us the assurance that tomorrow will come. Remember it's only by God's grace and not by being optimistic...-  By Ely Roque Sagansay

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 26:1 KJV
[1] As snow in summer, and as rain in harvest, so honour is not seemly for a fool.

Honor is a strange word for some people including some of the politicians. When I was a little boy, I used to hear my parents say the phrase; "Palabra de honor" - "Word of honor" (I have Spanish blood on my mother's side). It's their byword when they talked about honesty, integrity, personal conviction and dignity...

I- We must "Honor" God- Revelation 7:12 KJV [12] Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen. (Revelation 19:1; John 5:23)
II- We must "Honor" our parents- Exodus 20:12 KJV [12] Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.

III- We must "Honor" the pastors and preachers- 1 Timothy 5:17 KJV [17] Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.-  By Ely Roque Sagansay

Proverbs 25:1 KJV
[1] These are also proverbs of Solomon, which the men of Hezekiah king of Judah copied out.

Judah may just be a name or a place to many, but it has a valuable and significant spiritual treasure in the Bible; especially in the heart of God, the future (Things to Come) as according to what the Bible says. Will you name your baby "Judah"?

I- Judah as a "Person" (The defender of Joseph) Genesis 37:26 KJV [26] And Judah said unto his brethren, What profit is it if we slay our brother, and conceal his blood? (Genesis 44:1- 44)

II- Judah as a "Place" (The birthplace of Jesus the Messiah)- Micah 5:2 KJV [2] But thou, Beth-lehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

III- Judah as "prophesied in the Bible- Genesis 49:8 KJV [8] Judah, thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies; thy father's children shall bow down before thee.

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 24:1 KJV
[1] Be not thou envious against evil men, neither desire to be with them.

Envious is Nothing but a Vicious Instigation and Overwhelming Untruth from Satan.

Entertaining the Nonsense or Vanities with Inevitable, Overwhelming, and Undesirable Sin

Envy is Satan's workshop in the hearts and minds of those who are at the bottom of the ladder.

If you cling to envy, you are either a failure or you have not tried hard to be on the same level with the person of whom you are envious with...

Envy is not of God; you may have let it come into your life or you let Satan take control of it.

Titus 3:3 KJV

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 23:1 KJV
[1] When thou sittest to eat with a ruler, consider diligently what is before thee:

"Diligently" means "constant in effort to accomplish something; attentive and persistent in doing anything: a diligent student. 2. done or pursued with persevering attention; painstaking: a diligent search of the files." Dictionary.Com

My personal observation of a diligent person and a lazy, slumber, and sluggish or sluggardly:

The diligent are busy while the sluggard are idle.

The diligent wakes up early and be in bed late at night, while the lazy is still in bed, will be in bed or couch the whole day (being sluggish), and be in bed early in the evening.

The diligent is time conscious while the sluggard is a time waster.

The diligent are independent but the lazy are dependent to others.

The diligent are goal setter, studious, deep thinker- obviously, the sluggish are the opposite.

You may add for more comparison... - By Ely Roque Sagansay

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 22:1 KJV
[1] A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.

"Riches" is one of the topic many people would want to talk about. It is like a magnet to many. Some people who were invited to a wealth accumulation or "How to get rich fast and easy" would not even hesitate to come and even pay for their time there.

I- Our "Riches" could be our earthly possessions- Joshua 22:8 KJV [8] And he spake unto them, saying, Return with much riches unto your tents, and with very much cattle, with silver, and with gold, and with brass, and with iron, and with very much raiment: divide the spoil of your enemies with your brethren. (Genesis 36:7; II Chronicles 1:11- 12; I Timothy 6:17)

II- Our "Riches" could be our spiritual blessings in heaven- Ephesians 1:3 KJV
[3] Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

III- Our "Riches" could be in heaven with God in His glory- Ephesians 1:18 KJV [18] The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, (Ephesians 3:8- 16; Colossians 1:27)- By Ely Roque Sagansay

Proverbs 21:1 KJV
[1] The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord , as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.

I- The King in your heart- Ephesians 3:17 KJV [17] That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

II- The King in your home- Psalm 127:1 KJV
[1] Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.

III- House of God- Genesis 28:16-17 KJV [16] And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the Lord is in this place; and I knew it not. Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 19:1 KJV
[1] Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, than he that is perverse in his lips, and is a fool.

To be pervert or perverse in today's lifestyle and opinion is already acceptable in many countries around the world, and it's sad. Perversion could be in different form, ideas, morality, or sexual standard.

I- Perversion is never a sickness, it's man's personal decision- 1 Kings 8:47 KJV [47] Yet if they shall bethink themselves in the land whither they were carried captives, and repent, and make supplication unto thee in the land of them that carried them captives, saying, We have sinned, and have done perversely, we have committed wickedness;

II- Perversion need to be stopped- 1 Timothy 6:5 KJV [5] Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself. (Matthew 17:17)

III- Perverts need our Savior and we need to shine among them- Philippians 2:15 KJV [15] That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; (Luke 9:41)- By Ely Roque Sagansay

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 18:1 KJV
[1] Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom.

When you hear someone say "separated"; you may think of marriage that is in shambles, a ruined relationships, work related issues, church membership or an affiliation to an organization that has been cut off. It can trigger a negative thoughts; and I doubt it will  point us to God or or to our personal sin- that is to separate us from... The spiritual thought of it would be:

I- God Who separated us from sin or sin separated us from God- Isaiah 59:2 KJV [2] But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

II- God Who separated us from Satan- Acts 26:18 KJV [18] To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

III- God Who separated us from self to our blessed Savior and Lord, and His gospel- Romans 1:1 KJV [1] Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,- By Ely Roque Sagansay

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 17:1 KJV
[1] Better is a dry morsel, and quietness therewith, than an house full of sacrifices with strife.

"Sacrifice or sacrifices" are the lost words in the Christian world of service. Many Christians go to church to find comfort and a soft touch to their hearts and feelings. Some will go to church expecting to be served and not to serve. When was the last time you sacrificed for the name of Christ and for others?

I- Abraham sacrificed his only son Isaac- Genesis 22:2 KJV [2] And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of. (Genesis 22:1- 14)

II- God the Father sacrificed His only Son- Jesus- Hebrews 10:8 KJV [8] Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein ; which are offered by the law; (Hebrews 10:3- 6)

III- We need to give our lives as a living sacrifice to God- Romans 12:1 KJV [1] I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.- By Ely Roque Sagansay

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 16:1 KJV
[1] The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the Lord .

"LORD" is not just a title, a word or something to use and abuse. It is a holy word and must be used with reverence and great respect to God. Here is an acronym for the holy word- LORD:

I- Lovingkindness- Psalm 40:10 KJV
[10] I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation. (Psalm 63:3; 69:16)

II- Overcomer- John 16:33 KJV [33] These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

III- Redeemer- Psalm 19:14 KJV [14] Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord , my strength, and my redeemer. (Job 19:25)

IV- Deliverer- Psalm 18:2 KJV [2] The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. (Psalm 70:5; II Samuel 22:2)- By Ely Roque Sagansay

Does Form of Worships, Type of Music or Bible Translations Really a Big Deal in Christianity?

It's ironic that while the world is in shambles and in trouble. We watch on our tv screen the pain and persecutions of millions of Christians in many parts of the world. The hungry souls for the Word of God and the starving people all over the world are obviously ignored... It's so sad because some of the believers or so called Christians are attacking their fellow believers for not being like them. For example: On the form of worship or how they worship. The type of music and instruments to be used during worship services, and on the Bible translations, etc.

The choice of singers and their songs, the failure of many pastors, Christian organizations and evangelists are being demeaningly criticized and judged by people who preached the same Christ.

I grew up in a traditional form of worship and I used the same music when I pastored 3 churches in my whole life as a pastor. I respect those who use Hillsong, Praise and Worship, Contemporary or Rock. I have been to African- American, Middle Eastern, Purely African, French, Anglo, Hispanics, Filipinos and Inter-denominational churches; and they all worship with sincerity, love for God and honor the same Lord, although different from what I do at church. If you think you are more holy and spiritual because you're different or you worship solemnly, you are wrong! We may worship with our church culture, based on our cultural background or ethnicity and church personality. Or we would be all worshipping like the Jews- only if you really want to leave the culture behind and imitate how they (The Jewish People) and Christians worship during Bible times.

And I'm 100% sure it's not what we called traditional worship or contemporary, etc. (Google: How They Worship During Bible Times Or Images of Bible Worship or Jewish Worship)

Bottom line; respect other Christians who don't talk like you do, who don't sing what you sing on Sundays and regular days, and love those who don't use your Bible translation. Don't be divisive  and close minded because they are your brother in Christ even if they don't have the name "Baptist" in their church.

One day I was so mad to my children when they play Hillsong in our house, especially when they used it in our church worship service. I confronted Eliezer, JR. and Eliel Lyn and told them not to play it again because it's of the devil. They all told me that "they're not of the devil"- they were referring to (The Hillsong) "... because the message of their songs are Biblical and sound doctrine." They also told me that "Hillsong love the Lord as much as you do." So, I secretly listened to Hillsong on You Tube. Believe it or not, I enjoyed listening to "Magnificent" "At the Cross" "Hosannah" and other songs. Actually; those are my favorite songs since that day. I did not even know that some of the songs that I used when I was the Music Director of the Greater Detroit Baptist Association were from Hillsong. What a shame on my part. I was wrong!

If you don't agree on other churches' practices, policy, cultures, minor belief and physical appearances, don't be critical and judgmental, be nice and pray for them. Don't even call them immoral, liberal or from the devil because they may have given more for missions, may be generous in their tithes and offerings, more prayerful in their private devotions or more passionate in reaching the lost than you are. Be thankful for them because they don't kill or harm people. Pray for them and live in unity and love. Live in the spirit and be humble- knowing that we are all sinners and under the mercy and grace of God.

The form of worship and the worshippers in heaven is different from any of us or churches in the whole world for sure. My unsolicited advice- Respect, Love, and Live in Unity in His grace with Humility and the Fear of the Lord.

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 15:1 KJV
[1] A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.

Anger is the natural reaction of man to the unpleasant condition or situation, and it is every creations' part of emotion and outward expression to negative circumstances.

I- Jesus was angry- Matthew 21:12 KJV [12] And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, (Verses 11- 13)

II- Apostle Paul was angry- Galatians 2:11 KJV [11] But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed. (Verses 12- 14)

III- We can express anger- Ephesians 4:26 KJV [26] Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

IV- God was angry- Isaiah 12:1 KJV [1] And in that day thou shalt say, O Lord , I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me. (Psalm 79:5)- By Ely Roque Sagansay

The churches and ministries in the wealthy countries such as the USA has available resources and funding as compared to 3rd world countries; but the lost of dreams, vision, and compassion for the lost and the work of God took over its green light.- Ely R S of "The New Christmas Every Day".
Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 14:1 KJV
[1] Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.

A young lady came to her dad (a pastor) to ask permission if she can get married in her early age. Her dad graciously asked her few questions to test her if she is ready and if she really know what she would be doing.

Young lady- "Dad can I get married now?"

Dad- "Sweetheart, I don't think you're ready yet. It's too soon for you."

Young lady- "Yes I'm ready!" She exclaimed.

Dad- "Do you know how to cook?"

Young lady- "I have phone, I have credit cards, I have a car, I have a wallet on my phone, and SIRI can tell me where to go anytime, anywhere, and I can drive to the restaurant, etc."

Dad- "Okay, but do you know how to do the laundry, and iron your clothes?"

Young lady- "I live close to the laundromat and dry cleaning place."

Dad- "I see, but how about the bills?"

Young lady- "Dad, you preach about it all your life up to this date, and you tell everybody to trust God, and why do you question my faith? Remember your favorite verses; Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV [5] Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. [6] In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Dad- "How about the guy? Did he proposed to you already? If not yet, does he plan to do so in the future?"

Young lady- "That's one of the reasons why I'm here, I wanted to borrow your shot gun and 45 caliber pistol."

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 12:1 KJV
[1] Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish.

"Loveth"- it is an old English word. It's the natural reaction or inner feelings of every human beings. But love can be overcome by hate in the process due to undesirable circumstances, undesired action or reaction of the other party, or because of undesirable things and people in life. For sure, everyone will witness:

I- The love of God- Romans 5:8 KJV [8] But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (John 3:16; Proverbs 3:12)

II- The love of parents- Genesis 22:2 KJV [2] And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.

III- The love for one another- 1 John 4:7 KJV
[7] Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. (John 13:44- 35)- By Ely Roque Sagansay

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 11:1 KJV
[1] A false balance is abomination to the Lord : but a just weight is his delight.

When you think of the word "false", you might be thinking of spiritual things such as false teachings, false prophets, or false doctrines. But you may also think of...

I- False accusations by man- Luke 19:8 KJV [8] And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold. (Jude 1:9)

II- False accusations on Jesus- Luke 6:7 KJV [7] And the scribes and Pharisees watched him, whether he would heal on the sabbath day; that they might find an accusation against him. (Matthew 27:37; John 18:29)

III- False accusations by the devil- 2 Peter 2:11 KJV [11] Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord. (Jude 1:29)- By Ely Roque Sagansay

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 10:1 KJV
[1] The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother.

We all felt heaviness in different ways, situations, conditions, and reasons; but for sure, we know the feelings of being in it. Be it emotional, physical or spiritual- we will all have to go through it as human.

I- We have heaviness in our hearts- (the burdens we carry and the pressures in life)- Ezra 9:5 KJV [5] And at the evening sacrifice I arose up from my heaviness; and having rent my garment and my mantle, I fell upon my knees, and spread out my hands unto the Lord my God, (Job 9:27; Proverbs 12:25)

II- We have heaviness in our home (the means to provide the daily necessities and for the future of our children and reproach)- Psalm 69:20 KJV [20] Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none.

III- We have heaviness for the house of God (the ministries and the lost world)- Philippians 2:26 KJV [26] For he longed after you all, and was full of heaviness, because that ye had heard that he had been sick.- By Ely Roque Sagansay

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 9:1 KJV
[1] Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars:

Everyone has its own definition for "wisdom". The Bible, the writers, the philosophers, the ordinary people have their own meaning and ideas about wisdom. For me, wisdom is... The Word of God- it is an Inspiration to the Servants of God and His Saints, and it Delivers, Overcomes, and Molds them for His glory.- By Ely Roque Sagansay

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 8:1 KJV
[1] Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice?

To cry does not mean being girly or childish. To cry with those who cried, and to mourn with those who mourn is definitely emotionally healthy.

C- Cry or crying for blessings, because of burden/s or for the best- Exodus 2:23 KJV [23] And it came to pass in process of time, that the king of Egypt died: and the children of Israel sighed by reason of the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up unto God by reason of the bondage. (Exodus 3:7; 5:8; II Chronicles 6:19)

R- Revival in our hearts, at home or in the house of God- Isaiah 57:15 KJVB[15] For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place , with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. (Psalm 85:6)

Y- Yearning (desire) for His presence, power and provision- Psalm 37:4 KJV [4] Delight thyself also in the Lord ; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.- By Ely Roque Sagansay

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 7:1 KJV
[1] My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee.

The writer obviously claimed ownership in this verse. He knows the importance of God's Word and commandments, as well as his words of wisdom and commandments. He seems to share and urged his son to take the responsibility. The word "My" was not used for selfish reasons...

I- My son (It may refer to physical heritage or spiritual- son in the faith)- Philemon 1:10 KJV [10] I beseech thee for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten in my bonds:

II- My words (Keep my words is a reminder)- Deuteronomy 11:18 KJV [18] Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes. (Deuteronomy 4:10)

III- My commandments (Lay up my commandments is a responsibility)- John 14:21 KJV [21] He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.- By Ely Roque Sagansay

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 6:1 KJV
[1] My son, if thou be surety for thy friend, if thou hast stricken thy hand with a stranger,

Have you been stricken? It might sound like a strange word, but it's a reality to millions of people who are going through pain and unbearable suffering. Stricken means seriously affected by an undesirable condition or unpleasant feeling.  Synonyms- troubled, deeply affected, afflicted, struck, hit.

I- We were stricken to be steadfast for God- 1 Peter 5:9 KJV [9] Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

II- We may be stricken to strive and strengthen others for God- 1 Peter 5:10 KJV
[10] But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you .

III- We will be stricken to witness the suffering of Christ and to serve Him faithfully - 1 Peter 5:12 KJV [12] By Silvanus, a faithful brother unto you, as I suppose, I have written briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God wherein ye stand.-  By Ely Roque Sagansay

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 5:1 KJV
[1] My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my understanding:

I like writing and thinking of acronyms of words and sentences I read or see. It exercises my thinking process, and it, most of the times blessed my heart. And here's one of them; B-O-W (Bow).

I- B--- Believe or Trust- Acts 16:30-31 KJV
[30] And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? [31] And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. (Proverbs 3:5- 6)

II- O--- Overcomer -1 John 5:4 KJV [4] For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. 1 John 5:5 KJV [5] Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

III- W--- Winner- Philippians 3:8 KJV [8] Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, (Romans 8:30- 31)- By Ely Roque Sagansay
