Wisdom of the Day from Mi Daily Devotion

Wisdom of the Day from Mi Daily Devotion

"My son, if thou be surety for thy friend, if thou hast stricken thy hand with a stranger," (Proverbs 6:1 KJV)

Never put yourself as a co-signer (security or surety) to your neighbor, but let them take the responsibility to any debt or contact. Do not take the unnecessary load in behalf of your neighbor for one day he or she may weary you.

One mistake of unnecessary trust may lead to a bad precedent in your circle. Be sure to use caution as you extend your hand in the name of charity, and when you share for the glory of God. Charity must be pour down to the right channel and purpose. (I Corinthians 13) -By Ely Roque Sagansay

Wisdom of the Day from Mi Daily Devotion

"My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my understanding:" (Proverbs 5:1 KJV)

As parents, we must encourage our children to give their hearts and focus in the wisdom of God and in the wisdom that we have shared in their life time. They need to set their hearts on it and exercise wisdom by having their mindset set on it.

"...Bow thine ear to my understanding." It requires humility to do so. Indeed, wisdom and understanding can be acquired or gain with humility, right focus, and by setting your heart on it.-

Your Guidelines in Praying for Your Future Life Partner

Your Guidelines in Praying for Your Future Life Partner

1- Pray for a faithful Christian who really loves the Lord. (II Corinthians 6: 14- 18)

2- Pray for someone who will love you unconditionally and will love your families no matter what your family background is...

3- Pray for a partner who will live a holy life and will not compromise his/her faith in any circumstance.

4- Pray for someone who don't drink, don't gamble, don't do drugs, not a womanizer, and don't smoke. These are family killers!

5- Pray for someone who is not money centered, materialistic, but the one who is Christ- centered.

6- Pray for someone who is a dreamer, a goal setter, a hard worker, and determine to finish the race.

7- Pray that you will be this someone for someone.

There is no such thing as perfect man or perfect woman in marriage. Because even Adam and Eve who have lived in a perfect world before the fall committed sins and failed. Ask God if he or she really is the will of God for you. You will save yourself of tears, consistent fear and pain. You can avoid unstable relationship as couple and divorce or separation. Love must be the only reason to keep the relationship stronger.- By Ely Roque Sagansay

Wisdom of the Day from Mi Daily Devotion

"The words of king Lemuel, the prophecy that his mother taught him." (Proverbs 31:1 KJV)

"...the prophecy that his mother taught him." That's very powerful words in commendation for mothers. Mothers have great impact in their children's lives only if they read, live and teach the Word of God. King Lemuel's mother was not named by the writer, but I'm sure she was appreciated by those whom she touched by her life.

Some mothers have sacrificed their times teaching, caring, loving, guiding the children in a right path as they grow in wisdom, in knowledge, as well as emotionally and spiritually.

I like this phrase; "... the prophecy that his mother taught him" prophecy is foretelling and forth telling. But this verse may mean teachings or preachings. It is obviously about the teaching of Lemuel's mother as indicated on the following verses.

The blessings of having a godly mother is their godly life and biblical teachings and philosophies in life. It is priceless in terms of lasting results and legacy.

Wisdom of the Day from Mi Daily Devotion

"The words of Agur the son of Jakeh, even the prophecy: the man spake unto Ithiel, even unto Ithiel and Ucal," (Proverbs 30:1 KJV)

"The words of Agur the son of Jakeh..." What kind of words do you share to your friends and love ones? Whatever we have stored in our minds and in our hearts are probably the words, and the wisdom we probably will share to them. We may share the prophecy from the Word of God and the knowledge we gained as we grow in His grace.

Agur filled his life with God's Word, and he did not kept it to himself, he shared it to his friends and love ones. Let us be faithful in sharing His Word to the darkened world. We may also share our wisdom and knowledge to the younger generations. (II Timothy 3:16)- By Ely Roque Sagansay

Strive with "SS"

We can learn a series of Bible doctrines from the letter of the alphabet with it's Bible references. Starting with the letter "S" may have more spiritual significance as we start with the message of salvation and its assurance in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Saved- "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Ephesians 2:8- 9 King James Version)

Secured- "And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29- My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. 30- I and my Father are one. The Foolish and Atheists

"The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good." (Psalms 53:1 King James Version)

The atheists may cover themselves well with worldly goods, with worldly knowledge but they can't hide their corrupt, sinful, wicked, foolish, and black darkened hearts from God. They can paint their faces with make ups, but they will not be able to clean up their wicked hearts. Because only Jesus and His blood can cleanse us all from our sin. (John 1:29) "In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;" (Ephesians 1:7 KJV)

The Bible says; "The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. 2- The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God. 3-They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one."
