Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 8:2 KJV
She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths.

Man's instinct in many areas of life is always to be on the top, and remain on the top of whatever he or she desires in life. Or to some, in their dreams in life and circumstances. Many of our readers may remember the song of The Carpenters- "Top of the World". In one of the line of the song it says; "Your love put me on the top of the world..." That phrase sounds like a line from your preacher's preaching.- Genesis 11:4 KJV And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 6:2 KJV
Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.

http://bookstore.westbowpress.com/Products/SKU-000529449/Mi-Daily-Devotion.aspx

"Snared" is a word that can only be fit to use on the enemy or Satan. It is a very popular word in the devil's meeting and planning sessions. "Snared" was the word that the devil, the Pharisees, the Saducees, and the Lord's enemies planned to use to catch, to corner, to put the Lord Jesus Christ in dilemma.- Matthew 12:14 KJV Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him.

Proverbs 5:4 KJV
But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a twoedged sword.

https://plus.google.com/112042077541179996749/posts/XzorCGjVedQ

The "twoedged sword" is a weapon they used in war in ancient times. It is sometimes used in execution and for self defense. "Twoedged Sword" is a picture of the "Word of God". It is our weapon against the wiles of the devil. "Twoedged Sword" is the "Holy Bible" that penetrates into the heart of man, and change the course of man's life.- Hebrews 4:12 KJV For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Proverbs 4:3 KJV
For I was my father's son, tender and only beloved in the sight of my mother.

http://noisetrade.com/eliellyn

Are you beloved? Do you believe you are God's beloved? The Bible talks about this word in reference to God's loving care for His children as well as Jesus and the apostles' addressing the Christians as God's dearly beloved children. God the Father called the Lord Jesus Christ "Beloved Son..."- Matthew 17:5 KJV While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

Proverbs 3:5 KJV
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

These verse of the Scriptures could be one of the most quoted, most used and abused part of the Bible, and unfortunately, misinterpreted verse as well. "In God We Trust" is in the USA's money, and we praise God for it! But to exercise such trust and faith in God is one of the hardest part in Christian life. It's not easy to trust God and put your faith in Him in your needs and trials in life. It only becomes easy when you "Let Go and Let God."- Mark 11:22 KJV And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

The Bible says; Psalm 18:2 KJV
The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

Verse to Ponder: Psalm 31:1 KJV
In thee, O Lord , do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.

Proverbs 2:3 KJV
Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;

http://noisetrade.com/eliellyn

The word "lift" in some States and countries have different meaning. The word "liftest" in King James Version is "cry aloud" or "raise your voice" in some versions of the Bible. The truth and real point for us to consider would be for us to call out to God for wisdom, knowledge, and understanding, and to praise Him. It is to call out in His name.Psalm 25:1 KJV Unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.

The Bible says; Ephesians 5:18 KJV
And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

Verse to Ponder: 1 Peter 4:3 KJV
For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:
