Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 10:2 KJV
Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivereth from death.

Profit for God, for self, or for others? Does it matter? If you want profit, you need God on your side. True profit belongs to God and Him alone can give us such.- Proverbs 11:4 KJV Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death.

Verse to Ponder: Ecclesiastes 7:11 KJV
Wisdom is good with an inheritance: and by it there is profit to them that see the sun.

Proverbs 9:3 KJV
She hath sent forth her maidens: she crieth upon the highest places of the city,

This verse actually talks about wisdom. Wisdom cries upon the highest places. Highest place, highest position, highest dwellings, highest God, Highest among the highest- our God and King. Put your trust in Him, He dwells in heaven of heavens.- Matthew 21:9 KJV And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.

Proverbs 8:3 KJV
She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors.

Speaking of “gates” or “gate”- in the Bible, it’s a picture of protection or it speaks of power, position, and possession. In ancient times or Bible times; palaces, kingdoms, cities have walls and gates. (God is our protection, our Door…) It was built for their protection against the enemies.- Deuteronomy 3:5 KJV
All these cities were fenced with high walls, gates, and bars; beside unwalled towns a great many.

Verse to Ponder: 2 Chronicles 14:7 KJV
Therefore he said unto Judah, Let us build these cities, and make about them walls, and towers, gates, and bars, while the land is yet before us; because we have sought the Lord our God, we have sought him , and he hath given us rest on every side. So they built and prospered.

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 7:1 KJV
My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee.

https://www.christianbook.com/thanksgiving-every-day-ely-sagansay/9781490806358/pd/806358

“Commandments” were given and its not easy for everyone to obey. The Bible is filled of God’s command with one goal- for us to obey. We have the Ten Commandments, and the Law and the prophets. We praise God for our Savior the Lord Jesus Christ, He paid for our sins. Now, we don’t need to be stuck on fulfilling God’s commandment- Jesus fulfilled them all.- Matthew 5:17 KJV Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

Verse to Ponder: John 15:10 KJV
If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

Proverbs 6:2 KJV
Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.

Our mouth can be a gateway of all the evil thoughts and evil hearts that we possess. Or it can be a channel of God’s abundant grace which flows from the hearts filled with the Holy Spirit, and the wisdom from His Word.- Luke 6:45 KJV A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

Proverbs 4:1 KJV
Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding.

https://www.kobo.com/us/en/ebook/mi-daily-devotion-1

I posted on my status on Facebook about how I let my children go their way, and sometimes fail and at the end, they learned their lessons the hard way. God gave us His Word, His instructions, His wisdom and knowledge but if we disobey; we will then learn our lessons the hard way, and sometimes tragic. The Bible says; Psalm 127:3-4 KJV Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord : and the fruit of the womb is his reward. [4] As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.

Verse to Ponder: Romans 8:17 KJV
And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him , that we may be also glorified together.

Proverbs 3:5 KJV
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

https://www.christianbook.com/thanksgiving-every-day-ely-sagansay/9781490806358/pd/806358

There is no shortcut in trusting the Lord, its a long journey of faith. If you want your path to be straight and easy, you have to give everything to God. That's how you trust Him- you entrust everything in His hands, in His disposal, in His will, and in His time.- Psalm 18:2 KJV The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

Verse to Ponder: Psalm 28:7 KJV The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.
