The true war is not the deceitful work of your friends or neighbors, and not even by the politicians. The war is against the darkness of this world. It's against the devil.- Ephesians 6:12 KJV For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Verse to Ponder: 1 Peter 5:8 KJV Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

The word ‘suffer’ is ‘let’ or ‘allow’ in other translations. It's very encouraging to know that Christians have the promised of God’s provision. He will not let us go hungry. He is in charge of our needs.- Psalm 146:7 KJV Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The Lord looseth the prisoners:

Verse to Ponder:Isaiah 65:13 KJV Therefore thus saith the Lord God , Behold, my servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry: behold, my servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty: behold, my servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be ashamed:

You don't have to know all the scientific names, the world history, and all the terms and meanings to be called wise. King Solomon and apostle Paul have a different ideas to be called ‘wise’.- 1 Corinthians 4:10 KJV We are fools for Christ's sake, but ye are wise in Christ; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are honourable, but we are despised.

It is very disturbing to know how people become so selfish, and greedy of power and money. This evil deeds has been humanity's prevalent attitude from the time of the fall of man, to Abel and Cain, king Pharaoh, king Herod and Adolf Hitler. But God’s love and forgiveness remain the same from generation to generation.- Genesis 6:5 KJV And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Verse to Ponder: Judges 3:7 KJV And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord , and forgat the Lord their God, and served Baalim and the groves.

Try to start the New Year by reading the Bible daily. Read the book of Proverbs every day in the morning, and other books of the Scriptures in the evening. You will notice the benefits in reading, meditating, and living the Word of God. As believers, we have joy in our hearts when we connect with God in prayer and Bible reading.- Joshua 1:8 KJV This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

May we step out to leave 2017, as we go forward to drop off our failures and resentment at the start of this God given year- 2018. Our present positive outlook in life may help others, and lift up their spirit or encourage those who are weak. God bless and enjoy every bit and seconds of your life.- Philippians 3:13 KJV Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do , forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
