"The House of Bread"

"But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting." (Micah 5:2)

Bethlehem- "The House of Bread". Jesus is the Bread of Life. He was born in the city of David, and Jesus is from the linage of David. A little city such as Bethlehem can be use by the Lord to bring someone who is the King of kings and the Lord of lords- the Lord Jesus Christ. Your little heart, your little home, and your small church (the house of God) can be use by God. Keep your eyes on Him, and be obedient to His Word and His will.

God's Plan for Mankind:

God's Plan for Mankind:
"What was the purpose why Jesus Christ came on earth? It is a good question with a great answer from the Word of God.
One of the purposes of His birth is to bruise Satan and to break his power and dominion.
14 And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.” (Genesis 3:14- 15 KJV)

The judgment of Satan and of the world was at the cross of Calvary through His death! 30 Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes.
31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.
32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.
33 This he said, signifying what death he should die. (John 12:30- 33 KJV)

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.” (I John 3:8 KJV)

“Thank You” (We Say it All the Time!)

For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.” (II Corinthians 4:15 KJV)

I was in Manila, Philippines for a mission trip with my wife. Our host, Rev. and Mrs. Benny Bernal was so gracious and generous to always take us out for the whole day, for meals. One morning pastor Bernal took us to a popular fast food restaurant in Manila. As we were waiting for our orders; I observed that the security guard who welcomes the customers and guests of the restaurant was so busy welcoming, opening and closing the door for the customers who come and go. But what actually caught my attention was his some kind of a scripted phrase.

Watching him saying the same thing to different kinds of people compels me to come near him and asked him this question; “How many times did you say ‘Thank You’ to people the whole time you’re here during your shift?” He said; “It’s between five hundred to one thousand times, and it depends if we're slow or doing well; but on holidays and pay days, it means more ‘Thank you’ to say during the day.” I ask him if he really mean it when he said; “Welcome... and thank you to the customers”. He answered with confidence; “Yes sir, because we were taught to mean it because people will know it if I don't really mean it.” The security guard added; “Sir, the customers are smart and they can tell by your voice or gestures if you don't mean what you say”. That could be a good lesson to learn; you always say “Thank you” and mean it!

"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God." (Philippians 4:6 KJV)

Happy Thanksgiving Day Everyone!

It's Thanksgiving Day, Every Day!

“Recipe for Friendship
Take two heaping cups of patience,
One heart full of love,
Two hands full of generosity
A dash of laugher,
One head full of understanding,
Sprinkle generously with kindness,
Add plenty of faith and mix well;
Spread over a period of a lifetime,
And serve everybody you meet.”- Unknown

“O LORD My God, I Will Give Thanks Unto Thee Forever.”

“O LORD My God, I Will Give Thanks Unto Thee Forever.”

“O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.” (Psalm 105:1 King James Version)

We praise and thank God for His goodness in our lives. And we express our gratitude to our love ones and friends who cares and loves us; but have you ever thank the Lord for those who tried to destroy you, criticize you, used you, made fun of you or persecuted you?

It’s easy to be grateful to people in your circle, but it’s difficult to say “Thank you” to those who don’t appreciate you. We need to look up to God instead of expecting from someone we love, because what really matters most is our attitude toward God.

Prayer: “Father in heaven, I thank you so much for the open door of gratitude in spite of the wrong attitude we have for you. Help us to be grateful to any people, and even to the ungrateful. May we learn positively from them, in Jesus name, Amen!
“To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee forever.” (Psalms 30:12 KJV)

My Thanksgiving Video “In Every Thing Give Thanks…”

Thanksgiving Video (“In every thing give thanks...")

Whatever God has for us may look small or little, but to others- it’s something special. And for us to ignore what the Lord has provided is a sin we committed for being unthankful.

There are insignificant thing(s) in our life that others may see, but for us, they’re our only treasure(s) that money can’t pay. But the most important thing is to be grateful for what you have in your hands; because sometimes they’re the envy to others who have nothing in their hands.

“Freedom and Thanksgiving is a Good Thing to Embrace”

"And the chief captain answered, With a great sum obtained I this freedom. And Paul said, But I was free born." (Acts 22:28 KJV)

Freedom is a treasure you may not know, it comes from God and in Him we owe. Therefore be sure to thank Him in spite of the pressure; for without Him it could have been worse, I know and I’m sure. Freedom and thanksgiving is a good thing to embrace. We know, we have love, because of His grace.

Thank Him you're not a prisoner of any power, sin or disgrace, He is there to lift us up in our lowest place. I thank Him for the free will, freedom, and for free gift and His grace. Thanksgiving must be a reminder of what God has offered and done to human race.

Prayer: Gracious God, thank you so much for the freedom I enjoyed in Christ and the freedom from the bondage of sin and Satan. Help me to be thankful for the freedom of speech, and freedom of religion and not the freedom from religion. This Thanksgiving Day; teach us to remember the founding fathers of our land who stood up for what is right, in Jesus name, Amen.

“We owe our forefathers for the religious freedom we enjoy, but we owe God for the joy of freedom.”- ElyRS

And Hezekiah appointed the courses of the priests and the Levites after their courses, every man according to his service, the priests and Levites for burnt offerings and for peace offerings, to minister, and to give thanks, and to praise in the gates of the tents of the Lord.” (II Chronicles 31:2 KJV)

“The Thanksgiving of Many Reflect to the Glory of God.”

For the Lord shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.” (Isaiah 51:3 KJV)

The common outcome of discouragement is depression. But disappointment or spiritual and mental distubances, that you cannot escape. You tried to hang on; but Jesus wants you to keep on keeping on… And with appreciation on God’s wonderful grace; He bestowed upon us God’s will by His Holy Spirit. It may not come today, but remember soon it may.

The world may be in chaos, but Jesus is in control and He is in power. The Word of God you must choose, because it’s the best thing and it’s precious. It’s not your circumstances that matters today, if in Christ with thanksgiving you trust, pray and obey. He will make it happen, even if life seems to be full of dismay.

Prayer: Lord God Almighty, I believe You are in control of the world we live in. We are in Your hands, and nothing in this world will happen without You knowing it. Help me to trust You and thank You for helping me in my uncontrolled circumstances, in Jesus name, Amen.

Say "Thank You" Everyday

"That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works." (Psalms 26:7 King James Version)

"Thank you"- it's not hard to say to anybody, but seldom will you hear people use such word everyday. What they might think it's all but for me, but it's actually an outward manifestation of the abundance from the heart of man.

It may sound just a plain redundancy for anybody to hear a grateful heart say "Thank you" everyday, but that's the attitude we need to practice all the way. Because it pleases Him who gave us all the good things in life and for eternity.

Prayer: Our Lord God in heaven, I thank you for the grace and for the good and pleasant things in life. Help me to appreciate that which is not so good, uneasy and unpleasant circumstances for me, in Jesus name, Amen!

"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God." (Philippians 4:6 KJV)

“And When Ye Will Offer a Sacrifice of Thanksgiving Unto the Lord…”

“And when ye will offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving unto the Lord, offer it at your own will.” (Leviticus 22:29 King James Version)

Don’t be jealous to the wealthy and wise of this world. For God knows our extremities or the things we afford. Be faithful in His service and with your vows and unconditional commitment to God. One day He will reward you at the end of the road you have trod.

In Him there is light and life from above. With God nothing is impossible if you will trust Him and in His Word…. Therefore always be thankful because God gave you this life not to make it awful… Today as you pray be sure to acknowlege God for the blessings you receive.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, please help me to be faithful in my service to You and your church. Please teach me to be more grateful to your provision and to the things that I don’t have in my life, in Jesus name, Amen.

“Be thankful and be faithful in everything that you have; For God is the One who provided you with love.”- ElyRS

No Matter How Difficult Life Could Be… Thank God!

But godliness with contentment is great gain. 7- For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. 8- And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.” (I Timothy 6:6- 8 King James Version)

Prayer: “I’m may be stressed out Lord, but I don’t want to be out… I may have some pressures Lord, but I don’t want to live and focus on pleasure… I may have some trials Lord… but I don’t want to live in failures… And I know I can always pray and express my gratitude to Thee no matter how difficult life could be… in Jesus name, Amen.”

Our faith may have been tested, but we can trust God with a grateful heart. Sufferings can cause unhappy life and a heavy heart, but thankfulness to God will balance the situations. Material and financial abundance could not make us a happy family, but to be grateful to God and when we blessed His name is something we can do to honor Him.

Even if I have everything this life can offer and everything are going fine and well, but if I’m unthankful to God, I’m in the opposite side of life.

“Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.” (Psalm 100:4 KJV)

Thank the Lord for Your Family

Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem; praise thy God, O Zion.13 For he hath strengthened the bars of thy gates; he hath blessed thy children within thee.” (Psalm 147:12- 13 King James Version)

My Family and my home is where my heart is set here on earth. It’s where I place my trust and hope- next to God Who deserves our praise. My Fellowship is sweeter and my joy is fulfilled. My Financial investment and my love and acceptance is within our little home. And I thank the Lord for He gave us peace and understanding, as we dwell together in His name. They are my heroes and God’s blessings and treasures in life.

Prayer: “Dear Lord, Please give me patient for my family. Help me to understand and be open minded to everyone. Teach me to be more appreciative and be supportive to each member in our home. Teach me to love them more than ever before. Help me to invest more quality time and guide us in every steps, in Jesus name, Amen.”

“Your immidiate family is your only treasure on earth that will last for eternity, - only if they have invited Jesus to come into their hearts by faith and repentance.”- ElyRS

Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep. Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.” (Psalm 127:1- 5 KJV)

Don’t Let Your Day Pass Without Giving Thanks to God

“God Who gave us the free gift of salvation, and there’s no other name that was given in heaven or on earth; but Jesus who He came down to die for you and for me. So we could be with Him for eternity. In that we must be forever grateful to God; Who loves you and me.”

My Prayer: “Father in heaven, help me to look up to you and trust you for my salvation and for my daily need. I thank you for eternity and for heaven you prepared for me. Lord Jesus, I thank you for this life and the life to come, in Jesus name, Amen.”

“Wherefore David blessed the Lord before all the congregation: and David said, Blessed be thou, Lord God of Israel our father, for ever and ever. 11 Thine, O Lord is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all. 12 Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all. 13 Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name. 14 But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee. 15 For we are strangers before thee, and sojourners, as were all our fathers: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is none abiding.” (I Chronicles 29:10: 15 King James Version)

“Don’t let your day pass without giving thanks to God or you will miss the true blessings from Him.” ElyRS

“I Give Thanks Unto the Lord; For He is Good”

“O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever. 2- Let Israel now say, that his mercy endureth for ever. 3- Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth for ever. 4- Let them now that fear the Lord say, that his mercy endureth for ever. 5- I called upon the Lord in distress: the Lord answered me, and set me in a large place. 6- The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me? 7- The Lord taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me. 8- It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. 9- It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes.” (Psalm 118:1- 5 King James Version)

“23-  This is the Lord's doing; it is marvellous in our eyes. 24- This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. 25- Save now, I beseech thee, O Lord: O Lord, I beseech thee, send now prosperity. 26- Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord: we have blessed you out of the house of the Lord. 27- God is the Lord, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar. 28- Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee. 29- O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.” (Proverbs 118:23- 29 KJV)
