Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 1:2 KJV
To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding;

To some, "word" or "words" are cheap, no wonder they don't put value to what they say or write. Some curse or swear easily because words to them is just like daily food to consume and eat, or throw away. Jesus is the "Word".  He is the Word of life.- John 1:1 KJV In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The Bible says; John 1:14 KJV And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Proverbs 26:2 KJV
As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come.

https://youtu.be/CTKIlEYvY30

Have you ever wondered why so many people are wondering why they are in a process of wandering in the island or desert of life? Wandering in the wonders of God's creations is way better than wandering in the wilderness of sin and nothingness. The Israelites during the time of Moses experienced the wandering in God's wilderness.- Exodus 13:18 KJV But God led the people about, through the way of the wilderness of the Red sea: and the children of Israel went up harnessed out of the land of Egypt.

The Bible says; Psalm 56:8 KJV Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?

Better is the sight of the eyes than the wandering of the desire: this is also vanity and vexation of spirit.

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 25:2 KJV
It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.

Glory- it's what the world wanted and desired to have in their life as an entertainer, politician, wealthy man or woman, and the list can go on... Proverbs 25:27 KJV It is not good to eat much honey: so for men to search their own glory is not glory. The glory belongs to God, but the recognition is acceptable for man.- Proverbs 27:2 KJV Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth; a stranger, and not thine own lips.

The Bible says; Isaiah 42:8 KJV I am the Lord : that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.

Verse to Ponder: John 7:18 KJV
He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.

Proverbs 24:2 KJV
For their heart studieth destruction, and their lips talk of mischief.

https://www.reverbnation.com/eliellyn

Some people are in mischief due to others' mischievous attitude. Mischief could be self inflicted or it could be the results people's undesirable deeds, selfish expression in words of anger and resentment, or hate. Trouble will not just come out of the blue to inflict us, there is cause and effect. Example on Saul to David.- 1 Samuel 23:9 KJV
And David knew that Saul secretly practised mischief against him; and he said to Abiathar the priest, Bring hither the ephod.

Proverbs 23:1 KJV
When thou sittest to eat with a ruler, consider diligently what is before thee:

https://www.kobo.com/us/en/ebook/mi-daily-devotion-1

A good question to ask every day for everyone is; "have I considered something worth of my time and pleasing to God?" Have you considered God's will and God’s Word in your decision process? "Consider" is a word in your hand and within your power. "Consider" becomes helpful when you learn to consider God first and foremost.- Deuteronomy 4:39 KJV
Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the Lord he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.

http://www.aslanchristianbooks.com/Mi-Daily-Devotion-100-Days-of-God-s-Promises-God-p/9781449767358.htm

The word together is a strange word in many homes and families, but a very common word for singles or unmarried people who just decide to live "together". I wish this word will be every divorced and separated couples' word- and it is to desire and longed for togetherness or be together again.- 1 Peter 3:7 KJV Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.

Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the Lord pondereth the hearts.

What happens when a woman ponders something in her heart? What could be your initial reaction if a deceiver, a supplanter, and a cheat says he ponders something in his heart? What if you ponders some great things in your heart and you seems to doubt for some reason? Do you at times ponder what you may have from God? Check out Mary pondering something in her heart- Luke 2:19 KJV But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.

https://www.amazon.com/Daily-Devotion-Inspirations-Encouragement-Evaluation/dp/1449713130/ref=asap_bc?ie=UTF8

Whether we like it or not, the Bible says; we are all sinners in the sight of God. Some religious group don't believe that all humans have sinned or were born sinners. We are all sinners by nature. The sin of our first parents (Adam and Eve) were imputed in us. It means it flows through our line, or in our flesh and blood from the fall of man.- Romans 5:12 KJV Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

Mi Daily Devotion

I'm Turning Fifty Seven

I'm turning fifty seven, but I don't stop dreaming. I would say, I just started living, with a vision and the desire to keep moving. I want to be working hard, not for myself or anybody, but for my children to leave a great legacy.

I tried to live with integrity and dignity, but sometimes gossip could hit me in, with the help of the enemy, but I'm not bothered by what men may do and say, because I know I am alright and by His grace I'm justified and God will repay.

I grew a year older, but my dreams, my visions will be... to please Him and honor Him I pray, thus, I would not dread for in Him I stay. I don't lost hope in my endeavors, at times when life is full of uncertainty. Cheer up my friends! Jesus is the only way and our destiny.

It's not the quantity, but the quality of life that you're living in, that counts in the sight of Him Who loves you and me, be it in wealth, in poverty, or in simplicity; the most important is the love you have for God and your family.

Let me encourage you to look for God given opportunity. Or you may try to pray and use your talent, your knowledge, or availability. Your potential, or credentials may go down to waste at the end of the day. Better yet, you surrender it to God, I pray.

Inheritance is what the children and grandchildren gets when parents or grandparents passes away. It's a sweet word to hear from your lawyer once everything is cleared out. Some people longed to have part of an inheritance.

https://eliellyn.bandcamp.com/

We are the Lord's inheritance, and we will someday inherit what God the Father have for His Son- the Lord Jesus Christ. Remember, we are joint heirs with Christ. Apostle Paul used different words for inheritance in the book of Romans; (Romans 8:17 KJV) And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him , that we may be also glorified together.

The Bible says; 1 Peter 1:4 KJV

The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness.

The last phrase of this verse talks about the foolishness that comes out of the mouth of the fools, but on the other side of the coin the wise is different in their used of their tongue. And I believe their perspective as well differs from each other. The Lord pours out His wisdom and blessings to us all in spite of our own foolishness to Him.-  Psalm 75:8 KJV For in the hand of the Lord there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.

Despiseth is the sad word you may hear from the people who refused the truth of God and His Word. It's heartbreaking to hear some elderly and adults who despised our youth. We may also despise the wisdom of the aged, but the consequences of despising is beyond our strength and power to resist and to handle. Its only by the grace of God, are we able to overcome them. Violence is unstoppable and universal. It's in many homes, in progressive countries, in poverty stricken, and prosperous countries. It started from the time of Abel and Cain. Greed, envy, false religious practices, political differences, and poverty are some of the causes of violence in the whole world. And it fires up when people becomes ignorant and idiotic. "Gates" in the Scriptures is a picture of protection, God's doorway to eternal life, and of the Lord Jesus Christ. We have 2 choices where we wanted to spend eternity- heaven or hell, and there's no in between. God in Jesus Name wanted us all to be with Him in heaven, but He cannot force us... Lay your burdens, your cares, and your sins to the throne of God. Leave it there and live for Him. Be Acceptable in His sight. Accept His grace and mercy. Yield your will and your ways to His will and His Word. Lay everything down in His foot, at church or in your prayer room. Numbers 17:4 KJV And thou shalt lay them up in the tabernacle of the congregation before the testimony, where I will meet with you.

The Bible says; Hebrews 12:1 KJV Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us , and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

Proverbs 6:1 KJV
My son, if thou be surety for thy friend, if thou hast stricken thy hand with a stranger,

Stricken is a word you don't want to hear or be in your home. It is sometimes so unfortunate that people are in trouble and stricken due to their own sin or stupidity. I Googled the word stricken and this is what it says; seriously affected by an undesirable condition or unpleasant feeling... synonyms: troubled, (deeply) affected, afflicted, struck, hit "stricken with grief".

https://www.kobo.com/us/en/ebook/mi-daily-devotion-1

The Lord was stricken because of our sins, but we were stricken because we sin. Isaiah 1:5 KJV Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.

The Bible says; Isaiah 53:4 KJV Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

Verse to Ponder: Isaiah 53:8 KJV He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

Proverbs 5:3 KJV
For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil:

https://youtu.be/AVBbTt1LpMA

"Oil" is a picture of the Holy Spirit, God's blessings, and God's presence in the Bible. Oil was used for anointing and for blessings, and during worships in the Old Testament times. There's a short chorus that became the favorite song that we sang in the church I used to pastored in the Philippines, it says; "Give me oil in my lamp keep it burning, give oil in my lamp I pray, give me oil in my lamp keep it burning, keep it burning 'till the end of the day." Do you have that oil?- Exodus 29:21 KJV And thou shalt take of the blood that is upon the altar, and of the anointing oil, and sprinkle it upon Aaron, and upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon the garments of his sons with him: and he shall be hallowed, and his garments, and his sons, and his sons' garments with him.

The Bible says; James 5:14 KJV
Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:

Proverbs 4:3 KJV For I was my father's son, tender and only beloved in the sight of my mother.

https://youtu.be/AVBbTt1LpMA

Being a beloved of God is one of the honor we have in Him as Christians. The Lord called us in the Scriptures His beloved. Some Christians don't have any idea of what it means to be called "beloved" by God. There are also some special privileges that God gave to His beloved children.- Psalm 127:2 KJV It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.

Bible says; Ephesians 1:6 KJV To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

Verse to Ponder: 1 John 3:2 KJV
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

Proverbs 3:3 KJV
Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/16242647-mi-daily-devotion

Mercy is what we need as we come unto the throne of His grace. God's mercy is new every day, for every people, race, and tongue. We need God's mercy and grace even when we do His work. It is only by His mercy that we are used by Him for His honor and glory. As far as the heavens to earth, and as far as the east as unto the west- so is the mercy of God to us. It can't be measured by human standard.

The Bible says; Numbers 14:19 KJV
Pardon, I beseech thee, the iniquity of this people according unto the greatness of thy mercy, and as thou hast forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now.

Verse to Ponder: 1 Kings 8:23 KJV

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 1:3 KJV
To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity;

http://noisetrade.com/eliellyn

Judgment actually started in heaven when God poured out His judgment on Satan when pride was found in his heart. God judged the whole world during the time of Noah when men were so wicked and sin was man's closest friend in the whole world during those times. Judging others is like getting ahead of God- Jesus is the righteous Judge. John 5:22 KJV For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/16242647-mi-daily-devotion

The Bible says; John 5:30 KJV I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

Verse to Ponder: 2 Corinthians 5:10 KJV For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
