God’s Word is Our Sword and Shield

“My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21- Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22- For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.” (Proverbs 4:20- 22 King James Version)

You can’t stop your fleshly desires to work within you which sometimes can be manifested in your walk and talk as human. It is our fleshly cravings for sin, and to the stuff that pushed us into the desires that does not take us into God’s standard in the Bible. The wisest man’s advice is for us to; “attend” “incline” “depart” “keep”. We cannot stop temptation from coming our way, and we have no control of the devil’s hand to offer us something enticing, but we can overcome such in the name of Jesus, and by the power of His blood. (Revelation 12:10- 12)

Jesus, the Son of God was tempted by the enemy. (Matthew 4:1- 11) But He did not make Himself subject to such temptation. The enemy was serious about it. Satan really wanted Him to submit to his deception. The devil can do the same to us Christians. We need to exercise what king Solomon bid us do according to (Proverbs 4:20- 22).

Temptation becomes sin in the heart, in the head, and in the hands of man when one’s decision is placed under the control of it. No wonder apostle Peter was pressing the believers to be sober and watch diligently. He warned; “8- Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9- Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.” (I Peter 5:8- 9 KJV)

Faith of God’s People

“29- By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned. 30- By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days. 31- By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace.” (Hebrews 11:29- 31 King James Version)

God gave the Israelites blessings, good and great people to fulfill His promised to them. He gave them things and people that cannot be numbered. Our limited minds cannot fathom the goodness, the blessings, and the things that He gave His children and chosen people- the Israelites. God gave them Moses to cross the Red sea, and He replaced Moses to Joshua to help the children of Israel cross over the Jordan River to enter the promise land. As believers, we must step forward towards God given goals and blessings in our lives, especially in our spiritual lives. We have to claim it for God and for His honor which surely will benefit us, our family and even our very own country. It happens in the life of Moses and his people.

The promised of God to His chosen people when He spoke to Joshua; “3- Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses. 8- This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. 9- Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.” (Joshua 1:3; 8- 9 KJV)

No One Knows, But You Have to Watch…

“36- But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. 42- Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. 43- But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. 44- Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.” (Matthew 24:36; 42- 44 King James Version)

Definition of watch: 1. transitive and intransitive verb observe: to look at and keep your attention on something or somebody over a period of timeAre you coming to watch the game?I watched him as he walked off down the street.Would you mind doing that again? I wasn't watching. 2. intransitive verb keep lookout: to keep a lookout for something that might appear or happenYour job is to watch for anyone coming. be on the watch for somebody or something to look out for somebody or something. (MSN Encarta dictionary-On line)

“1- But of that day and hour (referring to His coming which is the rapture) knoweth no man…” No one knows here on earth… and Jesus continued on to say, “no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.” No one knows in the heavens both the good and evil angels (principalities and powers in the air which is the second heaven), but God the Father only.

The Bible did not say anything about the month, the day and the year, and even the hour of His coming. And Jesus did not say that He will destroy the whole world before He comes. According to Apostle Paul’s writing in (I Corinthians 15:52 KJV) “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” It’s “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye…” It will not be based on someone else’s calendar and timetable, but according to the Bible, it will be like “the thief in the night.” You must be ready and must be watching!

Before He Comes

“23- Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24- For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. (Matthew 24:23 – 24 KJV)

27- For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 30- And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.” (Matthew 24:27; 30 KJV)

The Questions About End Times with Great Impact

“7- Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. 8- I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” (Revelation 1:7- 8 King James Version)

This small group discussion of the Lord Jesus Christ with His disciples has remarkable impact in the past, present, and future generation. Jesus spent time with His disciples like what He did in the Sermon on the Mount. These are the prophecies on the Mount of Olives about His second coming with the details of what will happen before it occurs. The Mount of Olives is a significant place, and I believe God has a purpose why He bestowed to the disciples what He has in stored about the signs of the End Times. (Matthew 24) We can observe here Jesus talked about the future of the temple or the buildings, the ruins of both Jerusalem and the spiritual decay of man, not sparing the fall of the generations to come before and after the rapture.

Then, the disciples with curiosity inquired; "Tell us, when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of Thy coming, and of the end of the world?" They may have a little idea of the coming of Christ, and the end of the world when they asked Him these questions. These are some of the events in the history of men that never happened since creation. These are also a very suspenseful question and answer portion in the times of Christ’s inner circle. The disciples indeed had no idea of the impact that it does to the life of the Jewish people and in the life of our generations. But all these must come to pass before He comes to take the Christians, His very own away from this adulterous generation. The prophet Zephaniah’s expectations of the coming days is like the present Christian’s expectation of Christ’s coming and of the End Times. “14 The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly. 15- That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness,” (Zephaniah 1:14- 15 KJV)

Caveat, Signs of the Times, or Fulfilled Prophecies

“1- And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. 2- And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. 3- And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?” (Matthew 24:1- 3 King James Version)

Caveat according to Merriam- Webster Dictionary; “An explanation or warning that should be remembered when you are doing or thinking about something. a :warning enjoining one from certain acts or practices b :  an explanation to prevent misinterpretation.

Someone used the word “Caveat” on its comment about my book on Amazon.com. I decided to use this word for our follow up studies on the End Times. Jesus gave us the signs or the warnings of His second coming. These are absolutely the fulfillment of the prophecies in the Scriptures. It is obvious by what we see, what we are going through, how the world has changed. We observe it in its day to day happening in our country and around the world. The first signs or warnings Jesus gave His disciples before He went further about the signs of His second coming was about the physical temple in Jerusalem. He said; “There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.”

According to Wikipedia (The Free Encyclopedia on Yahoo) “When Vespasian was declared Emperor on 1 July 69, Titus was left in charge of ending the Jewish rebellion. In 70, he besieged and captured Jerusalem, and destroyed the city and the Second Temple. For this achievement Titus was awarded a triumph; the Arch of Titus commemorates his victory to this day.” I believe these are the fulfillment of what Jesus was talking about in Matthew twenty four verses one and two.

How to Prepare for the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ?

Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. (Revelation 3:3 King James Version)

After the fall of man, the Bible and even the Lord Himself speaks of the Lord’s first coming already. (Genesis 3:15) The Lord predicted of the Messiah who would come in weakness, humility and in human form.  As scofield puts it this way, “Whoever carefully considers Old Testament prophecies must be struck by two contrasting, and seemingly contradictory, lines of prediction concerning the coming Messiah. One body of prediction speaks of Him as coming in weakness and humiliation, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief, a root out of dry ground, having no form, nor comeliness, nor beauty that He should be desired. His visage is to be marred, His hands and feet pierced, He is to be forsaken of man and of God, and to make His grave with wicked. (Isaiah 53)”

The Bible was talking about the Lord’s birth in due time, and His death on the cross. The Rapture according to Apostle Paul in the book of (I Thessalonians 4:14- 18 KJV) “For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also who sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not precede (to go before in time, rank, or importance) them who are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first; 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together in the air; and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore, comfort one another with these words.”

Generosity Expressed in God’s Love

“7- Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.” (I John 4:7- 8 King James Version)

We love the beauty of the universe, the deepest depth of the sea, and the beauty of nature. But God loves us as human being in spite of our sinfulness. Although we were unworthy of His great love, God choose to love us, and He loves us unconditionally. He has a set plan for us even before the foundation of the world, it means before we were born. (Jeremiah 29:11) He expressed such when He gave us His only begotten Son. The Bible says; “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16 KJV)

Jesus the Son of God gave His life for us. “As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.” (John 15:9- 10 KJV) God the Father showed us His love through the Lord Jesus Christ. It was not the Hollywood type of love. It cost God the Father His one and only Son. He suffered the suffering no man has ever been through in the entire history.

The Scriptures gave us the assurance of such love and eternal life in heaven, it says; “10- He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. 11- And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12- He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. 13- These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. Our Hope is in Him

Our hope is in the Lord. In spite of economic, political, spiritual, and moral downward slip of many countries, homes, and churches; we can always trust the Lord and hold unto Him. Our hope is not in human strength. We take cover in the shadow of His wings. (Psalm 90:1- 2)

The Heaven’s Declare, the Glory of God!

To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth his handiwork. 2- Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night showeth knowledge.” (Psalm 19:1- 2 King James Version)

The things that we see and touch every day, and the things we enjoy and feel should make us know that God is alive and well. He exists and is in control of everything. The Psalmist proudly pronounced the glory of God. Matthew Henry says; “He leads us to the consideration of the invisible things of God, whose being appears incontestably evident and whose glory shines transcendently bright in the visible heavens, the structure and beauty of them, and the order and influence of the heavenly bodies.” (The Bible Collection,) I am fully convinced that the atheists are wise in their own conceit, but fools in the sight of God and in the Bible’s standard.

If there’s heaven, then there must be someone powerful who created it. It’s the principle of “cause and effect”. Our imagination of a Superior being must be the Spirit that tells us of Him of whom we owe our whole being. “The heavens declare the glory of God…” The professional tennis player Nadal, the Hollywood actor Brad Pitt, and Nicholson who proudly declared themselves atheists will someday stand before a living and just God! There will be no more excuses and second chances. That will be a day of reckoning. Imagine after the wealth, the fame and success they enjoyed for a while… everything will someday be forgotten in the darkness of their eternal damnation after this life. And the saddest part is when Jesus will say; “Depart from me ye workers of iniquity…” (Matthew

“1- To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. 1- To the chief Musician upon Mahalath, Maschil, A Psalm of David. The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.” (Psalm 14:1; 53:1 KJV)

Call Unto God and He Will Answer

“Thus saith the  Lord  the maker thereof, the  Lord  that formed it, to establish it; the  Lord  is his name; 3- Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” (Jeremiah 33:2, 3 King James Version)

Prayer obviously is asking and receiving, and sometimes requires waiting. If it’s the will of God, He will give you what you’re asking for... (Matthew 7:7- 11) The Words of Jesus is powerful and with authority.

It was not a promised from someone influential or in politics; but a promise from our Lord and maker. He is asking us for one thing with greater things in return. He is asking us to "call unto Him..." for an answer to our problems. He is challenging us to pray, so we can see great and mighty things which are beyond our understanding and expectations. “I said unto the LORD, Thou art my God: hear the voice of my supplications, O LORD.” (Psalm 140:6 KJV) He wants to work in us and through us, so we could be His living miracle in the midst of unbelieving and darkened world. Call Him today!

God will capture our hearts, our minds, and our eyes with His power to answer our prayer. He said; “…And shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” Apostle Paul wrote; “20- Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,” (Ephesians 3:20 KJV) “19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19 KJV)

The Devil Wants to Do Great Things and Give You Overwhelming Blessings

"20- Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. 21- Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22- Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23- And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” (Matthew 7:20- 23 King James Version)

The devil can offer you the world, its wealth, the great works and accomplishment that no one has ever done yet. He can give you power and prosperity beyond your imagination. He can make you someone you never even dreamed of. Satan will do exactly what you wanted it to be. You want fame, fortune or the fulfillment of your fleshly desires; He can do that for you! But there’s a catch. You have to submit to his will and evil purposes. Satan offered it to Jesus when he came to Him to seduce Him to submit to his evil desire. (Matthew 4:1- 11)

But these are the things the enemy can’t do for you; he can’t make you a believer of the Lord Jesus Christ. Satan can’t save your soul from eternal death and the punishment of hell. He can’t help you get right with God. He is against your desire to have the right attitude with yourself, to others, with God and His Word. He is not into walking with you in good harmony with your family and friends. He is against your desire of delighting and devoting your all to God. He is not for worship, fellowship, and he is against in giving our utmost praise and honor to our King! Satan hates it, if it’s about revival in our heart and in the house of God. Our encouragement is in Romans 8:31 which says; “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?”

MI Daily Devotion: Stay in the Ring with God!

MI Daily Devotion: Stay in the Ring with God!: “ 12- Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 13- But...

Stay in the Ring with God!

12- Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 13- But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.” (I Peter 4:12- 13 King James Version)

Christ’s suffering in the flesh is not a pattern for Christians to follow. But as believers, we must condition our hearts and minds that suffering is a part of Christian life. Many of us have at least a ring or rings that we proudly wear. It’s a ring that changed your life. After you wear that wedding ring; your life will never be the same again. But to those who have been married whether for a while or recently; you already know what I mean.

Now, as a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ, you will have suffering, even if you’re living a holy, consecrated and devoted life for God. Don’t be afraid of suffering, because it means we are partakers of Christ’s sufferings. You must be ready for what God has in stored for you. It means that it is a privilege and an honor for those who are going through hardship for the name of Christ and for the sake of Christianity. You must also be ready on what the devil has for you.

Our Christian life will be filled with rings. We will have all kinds of offerings, all types of sufferings, and we must stay on God’s ring! (I Peter 4:12- 16) May we would be like Apostle Paul, who, in spite of what he went through and at the end of his life said; “But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. 6- For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. 7- I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:” (II Timothy 4:5- 7 KJV)

MI Daily Devotion: God Forgave Us of Our Sins

MI Daily Devotion: God Forgave Us of Our Sins: “7- But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanset...

God Forgave Us of Our Sins

“7- But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 8- If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9- If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (I John 1:7- 9 King James Version)

God the Father called Christ to the task to pay for our sins. We don’t need to sacrifice or make sacrifices to be forgiven. We don’t need to work and work hard to go to heaven. Christ doesn’t need our religion and religious ritual, because Christ is our Religion. The weighing of holiness over our sins is irrelevant. If Christ will weigh the good versus the evil in us by His Holiness, everyone will come short. The Bible says; “For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.” (Romans 5:10 KJV)

The Apostle Paul stated it clearly when he said; “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” (Romans 3:10; 23 KJV) Christ is the Supreme good and the only good. He is Holy and He is God. Christ reconciled us to God by His death on the cross. The Scriptures says; “Wherefore in all things it behooved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.” (Hebrews 2:17 KJV) “And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;” (II Corinthians 5:18-20 KJV)

Life is Like a Roller Coaster Ride

“But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.” (James 1:6 King James Version)

The sailings are not always great; there will be waves, big waves that will disturb our life, our family, our dreams and vision. By the grace of God, I traveled in many places. I am a frequent flyer, and one of the scariest parts in flying for me are the take off, few minutes before the landing, and for sure the landing. We have air pockets in our flight… that cannot be avoided!

“Hitting an "air pocket" means that the lift under the wings is reduced, causing the plane to drop. This would only occur for about one or two seconds max, after which the pilot should be able to regain control. Keep in mind you are flying at 6 miles up and the drop would only be a few hundred feet, so it is very unlikely that this would cause a crash. It is actually pretty shocking when it happens - It feels like when you are on the downward slope of a roller coaster, but it is a very rare occurrance.” (Yahoo Answers)

Life is like a roller coaster ride, it’s full of ups and down. We must be firm and determined because the roads are not always smooth, sometimes they’re rough and bumpy. We need to look up to God by faith in our hearts.  Apostle wrote; “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14- I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”  (Philippians 3:13- 14 KJV)

We Need Your Help for Medical Mission

“7- And as ye go, preach, saying, the kingdom of heaven is at hand. 8- Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.” (Matthew 10:7- 8 KJV)

It is written in the book of Luke 8:1 that Jesus went out to preach with His twelve disciples. He preached in every city and villages, and showing them the glad tidings of the kingdom of God. It is very obvious that Jesus was not only showing and training His disciples how to witness and tell others about the good news of the Kingdom, but He also set a good example to them to follow. Now Jesus in Matthew 10:7 commanded them to “go”. He said; “And as ye go, preach, saying, the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

Be a part of our "February 2015 Medical and Dental/Mission Trip to the Philippines" Your PGA (Prayer, Giving, Action) is needed!

Preaching or witnessing is one of the main or primary objectives of every believer. And the next four objectives of Jesus were healing of the sick, cleansing of the lepers (both spiritual and physical leprosy), raising the dead (Spiritually dead) and to cast out the devils. There could be more objectives that are not listed in the said verses. But I believe with all my heart that God is still into it. The ministries mentioned in verse eight are just parts of the greater vision that God had in stored for His children.

How many Christians are committed in doing such things for the kingdom of heaven? We were saved to do God’s business and be faithful and committed to our calling as servants of Christ. Would you be willing to share the gospel and help the sick? Apostle Paul wrote; “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” (Ephesians 2:10 KJV)

“Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2- For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. 3- And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?” (Matthew 7:1- 3 King James Version)

But it’s one of the things that can work in the minds of others that are beyond our control- to judge us. I am accountable to God for my actions and reactions. Be it good or evil, right or wrong, and just or unjust. One day, I will be standing before the Judge of judges. The accounting of what I’ve done, how I made used of what a have, my stewardship as a husband, a father, a minister, and that will go on and on… He will do the same to you!

We can make others judge us by our attitude, the bad character that we knowingly and consciously do in public. The things that we did whether in public or in private, the evil deeds, even the good deeds and the righteous living... God will have His own accounting for that! The Bible says; “There’s nothing covered that shall not be revealed…”

Let God be the Judge, because we are all accountable to God for the things He entrusted to us, for the things and talents that are in our control; it is therefore best for us to be prudent, be careful with how we conduct ourselves, and be God centered. We cannot please everybody, but we can please God by living righteously, justly, and in the spirit of humility and the fear of the Lord. Prayerfully ask the Lord to search your heart, and look up to God to help you not be judgmental. The Bible says; “8- He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?” (Micah 6:8 KJV)

What a Step of Faith to Christ Could Do?

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (II Corinthians 5:17 King James Version)

Things a person can gain, attain, and own when he/she take a step of faith to receive Christ.

·       Eternal life is for sure. (John 3:16, 36; 14:6; Romans 6:23)
·       Heaven will be our home. (John 14:1- 6)
·        Change of heart and life. (II Corinthians 5:17)
·       The change in belief of God, the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit and the Bible. Acts chapter 9; Galatians chapter one.
·       We will begin to have the right mindset and perspective in life.
·       We abstain from bad or evil practices and wickedness. (Romans 8:1- 8)
·       God is in the throne of our life. (Romans 8:9- 11; Galatians 2:6- 9)
·       We will begin to listen, to read, to love and put into practice His Word- the Bible in daily Christian life.
·       We will obtain favor of the Lord. (Proverbs 8:35- 36)
·       We will become born again believer.  (John 3:3)
·       We will be washed by the blood of the Lamb. (Revelation 12:11; 7:14)
·       We will be forgiven. (I John 1:8- 10; John 1:29)
·       We will learn to love. (I John 4:7- 8; John 15:9- 10) There are more and you can add a thousand of benefits, but let me give you my last point…

·       We will be crucified with Him. Apostle Paul said; “ I am crucified with Christ: neverthless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” (Galatians 2:20 KJV)

Do You Stand for Integrity, Dignity or Insanity?

Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee.” (Psalm 25:21 King James Version)

Do you desire wealth, prestige, integrity or God? Will you trade your soul to wealth, worldly things, or any worldly pleasures? I will not ride on my personal conviction if it’s against the Word of God. May the lost world will see in us as we stand for what is right and what the Bible stand for. Even if it will cost us our worldly pleasure and wealth in the name of integrity, dignity, and in the name of God; we must be straight. We know there are people around us who watch and observe us. We must protect our testimony. They need Jesus. May the children of God will stand and serve the Lord with integrity and the fear of God. May the believers of this present times will stand for what is right and pleasing to the Lord. May all those who comes behind us could say; “It was indeed a life that was pleasing to God, and a life that was lived with dignity and integrity.”I desire to live a life that may not be move and not be overpowered by money, by position, by people and prosperity.

Our children and the world will respect us, will look up to us, and trust us; not because of our educational attainment, not of wealth and success, but because we have integrity. In his way to death, apostle Paul said; “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:” (II Timothy 4:7 KJV) He worked hard for God. He stood up for God. He died for God, and he died with a testimony, with legacy, with dignity, with loyalty, and integrity.

The psalmist’s desire should be everyone’s legacy- “Integrity and uprightness”. At the end of the day, may we all could say; “By the grace of God, I have kept myself just, I have lived a life with dignity, and I have walked in my integrity.” The Bible says; “Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, than he that is perverse in his lips, and is a fool.” (Proverbs 19:1 KJV)

The Abrahamic Covenant and Today’s Conflict in Israel

“2- Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel. 3- Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.” (Joshua 1:2- 3 King James Version)

Israel is a nation from the seed of Abraham. Jacob was named “Israel” by God after he wrestled with Him as he tried to escape from the wrath of his brother Esau. (Genesis 32:21- 32) In the book of (Genesis 12:7; 13:15; 17:7- 8) are the records of the Abrahamic covenant, and it was confirmed again in (Genesis 22:15- 24) after the offering of Isaac to God by Abraham his father. And the Lord confirmed again His covenant to his people when Isaac blessed Jacob at Bethel after he strived deceitfully to get the blessing from his brother Esau (Jacob’s favorite) with the help of his mother Rebekah. (Genesis 28:1- 5) But before all these, God gave the promise of the inheritance to Moses already according to (Deuteronomy 30:1- 10). After the death of Moses, God talked to Joshua again about the land. (Joshua 1:1- 10)

On May 14, 1948, when the Jewish People’s Council in Tel Aviv Museum declared the establishment of the State of Israel as nation; it should not be a surprise to anyone who knows his Bible. It is not a surprise for Christians and those who know the Word if Israel will gain more land or occupy more land and power, because it was promised to them. The conflict between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, between the Jews and Muslims has been there from the time of their fathers in the Scriptures. It is the fulfillment of the prophecies and the sign of the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. As God has promised- they will never win. The Bible says; “4- From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast. 5- There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. 6- Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them. (Joshua 1:4- 6 KJV)

The Results of Abiding is Fruit Bearing…

“4- Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5- I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 6- If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. 7- If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. KJV)

The Lord Jesus Christ is accounted of or look up to as the true Vine by all believers. He is not something, or the literal plant that we see in our garden; He is Someone. The book of John 15:1- 10  is a paradox, and it is not a contradiction of statement of what He claims He is. It is a doctrine with authority and truth. It is pleasant and delightful to observe and watch Christians as they grow and abide with the true Vine- the Lord Jesus Christ. The doctrine of His gospel, the truth of what He said, and the comfort of His Spirit are very refreshing to every believer as we rest and trust in His Word and in His love.

Nothing compares to the sense of delights and the spiritual pleasure we have in meditating on the Word with His presence, and enjoying Him in our fellowship. The sweetness in abiding with Him is incomparable and can’t be explain to an empty hearts, thus Christ must be in the heart of man first and foremost before he/she can enjoy His abiding. The true abundance is in Christ and our fellowship with Him. It more of spiritual than material or carnal. Jesus said; “9- I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. 10- The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. (John 10:9- 10 KJV)

Fear and Anxiety Will Cause You to More Worries

“26- And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.”

Here are some of the bad fruits of fear, if fear is a fruit bearing tree… Fear can make you worry about everything. Matthew Henry wrote; It intimates how pleasing it is to Christ, and of how much concern it is to ourselves, that we should live without carefulness. It is the repeated command of the Lord Jesus to his disciples, that they should not divide and pull in pieces their own minds with care about the world.” (The Bible Collections)

Jesus said; “25- Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? 26- Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? 27- Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? 28- And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: 29- And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30- Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? 31- Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32- (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33- But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34- Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” (Matthew 6:25- 34 KJV)

How’s Your Prayer Life?

“9- For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers; 10- Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you.” (Romans 1:9- 10 KJV)

Someone said; “Prayer and the Word of God are inseparable, and should always go together in the quiet time of the inner chamber.” The book of proverbs says; “He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.” (Proverbs 28:9 KJV) What we need in our churches today is not more people or better machinery, and great administration or programs; but prayerful Christians. It’s not new organizational set up or more novel methods, but men whom the Holy Ghost can use. They are the people with more serious prayer life; men and women mighty in prayer. The Holy Spirit does not flow though methods but through men. He does not come on machinery, but on men. He does not anoint plans, but people of prayer.

It’s great to have plans, programs and goals, but the best of all is to pray and pray more for our plans, our goals, and for people to be anointed by the Lord. Mr. John R. Mott wrote; “Beginning the day with a devotional Bible Study and Prayer equips a man for the day’s fight with self and sin and Satan.” We should be like King David who prayed in the morning at noon and at night. (Psalms 55:16-17) 16-As for me, I will call upon God; and the LORD shall save me.17- Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.”

MI Daily Devotion: What is the Will of God for Your Life?

What is the Will of God for Your Life?

35- For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.” (Mark 3:35 KJV)

What really is the will of God for your life? Man can assume to be in the will of God; but it’s hard to really determine to be in the center of God’s will. So, what is God’s will for my life and your life? It is the will of God for us to be saved, for us to go to heaven, and to repent. It is not His will for us to perish and go to hell. The Bible says; “9- The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” (II Peter 3:9 KJV)

It’s not only in salvation, but in His service. It is God’s will for us to serve Him and to offer our lives to Him. It is to surrender and to sacrifice in accordance to His will and for His glory. Apostle Paul wrote; “1- I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2- And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” (Romans 12:1- 2 KJV)

We must be separated from sin and Satan. “3- For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: 4- That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;” (I Thessalonians 4:3- 4 KJV) It is God’s will for us to live a life separated from sin and Satan’s devices. We must abstain from fornication and live a life of honor and sanctification. The word “fornication” in ESV version means “sexual immorality”. Sanctification means “being set apart”. Apostle Paul wrote; “If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.” (II Timothy 2:21 KJV)

MI Daily Devotion: From Our Hearts to Our Feet

From Our Hearts to Our Feet

“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee. Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.” (Proverbs 4:23- 26 KJV)

Sin, vision, attitude, lifestyle, and our ways of life; it all starts from the heart. Then we will start talking about it. Jesus said; “…Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.” (Matthew 12:34) If it's positive, we will start to have a positive mind set, but if it's negative, then we will absolutely be on it. Sin will stimulate man’s perverse lips; therefore it’s not a surprise if gossip will step in or man’s critical spirit will urges him to exercise its evil desire. If our heart is right, then our talk and our walk with God will go along with it.

Our eyes will then be focus on those things whatsoever we have treasured in our hearts. Our eyes will then enjoy that which we placed in our hearts; be it good or evil, positive or negative, Godly or not, and so on... I heard people say; “A constant practice makes perfect”. Let me say; “A constant right practice makes you perfect.” It helps you mature or learn to do things right.

The next thing we know is when we already are walking on it, on its path. But if our heart is in His Word, if our eyes is on Him, and we walk in His path and His will; we can’t be wrong! Be sure to take the advice of King Solomon in verse 27; “Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.” (Proverbs 4:27 KJV)
