Many People Don't Even Know What it Means to be a Victim of Racism.
I hate racism because I know what it meant to be a victim of such. I heard so many people talked about 'racism' but the truth is, they don't have any idea what it meant to be on it, almost every day.
I am a Filipino- American. I have Spanish and Indian heritage. I often got mistaken as Latino or Anglo.
Racism is evil and it divides us all.
I've been a victim of racism at the Airport, in a restaurant, in public places, and even in some religious organizations. I can tell if I've been discriminated and sometimes insulted.
I was stopped by a nice young black man at the bus stop which leads to our pleasant conversation. After about 10 minutes, the bus stopped and the first passenger that got off the bus was a young black man who arrogantly approached me right away with a very unusual look at his face and asked me these questions: "Do you speak English? Are you Chinese? Do you understand me?" He said that right on my face. The nice black guy that I was talking with was kind of timid, surprised, and he did not know what to say. I nicely responded to this arrogant racist guy; "Yes a little bit."
How about you're in a busy Fastfood restaurant and you were at the counter and was asked to wait for 5 to 15 minutes while others who were after you got theirs already because they have the same skin color as those who served them.
How about while in a restaurant, the manager won't talk to you because she assumed you don't speak English? They will talk to your teenager son instead and they do it right in front of you, explaining to your son why dad's order may take a while? And I know that it will not take 10 minutes to microwave the Apple Pie.
How about you're in the Drive thru and you overheard your friend ordering something only to be laughed at by the Staff because of his broken English and weird accent? And you speak the same language and with the same accent.
Some arrogant people who think they're smart because they speak English will yell at people like me because they thought by yelling at Asians or Hispanics or people who speaks different language than they have will help them understand and get their point. (Speak slowly and clearly).
I attend the International Christian Church and I'm also attending in a White Majority Christian Church. These churches are not racists. These churches is the tastes of heaven. But unfortunately, I've been to other Churches (Not a Filipino Congregation) where my wife felt like no one sees us when we came in, and no one sees us when we got out.
Did you know that many so called Christian organizations or Mission organizations will give higher amount of financial support to White or Anglo Pastors, Missionaries, and Church Planters than to Asians, Hispanics, and Africans? Is it not discrimination or racism and evil? May be its time to standardize the system.
Some of the reporters, broadcasters, and journalists who always attacked and accused President Donald J. Trump of racism may never have experienced racism in their workplace or anywhere in the USA. If you accuse someone of racism or tell someone he/she is racist, be sure you know what it feels and what it means to be a victim.
Forgive me if its inappropriate to say that God is color blind when it comes to the color of our skin. God only sees the sinful human beings He created with the same red blood. He don't look at our bone structure, the color of our skin and eye color, neither will He look at our ethnicity, nationalities or ancestry or be particular on the language we speak.
I remember the song we used to sing in our Sunday School class when I was a young boy. It says; "Jesus loves the little children, all the children of the world; black and yellow, brown and white, they are precious in His sight, Jesus loves the children of the world."

This is Not New!
Yes this is not new. Moses fell into sin and murdered an Egyptian. King David fell into sin and did the same, and even more. King Solomon had the worst lifestyle. The 12 disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ and others around His circle denied Him and even left Him especially apostle Peter. (John 6:66). This is not new to us and should not surprise us Christians. The question of "if we still have to sing the song he wrote and sing"; absolutely! "Yes". Or we stop reading and preaching about the writings of the same people I mentioned who fell into sin, messed up their lives and their testimony, and turned their back from the truth, from God, and holiness. (Galatians 6:1- 7)
God used him to write, record, and sing those songs not to help us make ornset a standard for ourselves but to serve God's purpose- to glorify, honor Him, and edify the brethren.
Andrae Crouch, the writer and singer of 'My Tribute' 'The Blood Will Never Lose its Power' and other hymn and songs that we sing did not have a perfect life.
Every Sunday that you go to church, you will listen to your pastor, to your Sunday school teacher who does not live a perfect life. Some pastors and church leaders, and Sunday school teachers may not even saved. (Matthew 7:13- 23)
I know of some pastors, preachers, and Christian leaders who lives in sin. Some to pornography, in excess of wine, issues with money (used the church funds for personal) and other sins. The sad part is, they are still at the pulpit preaching holiness, love, sin, integrity, and the whole truth of God- now that is hypocrisy.
I do not condone Marty Sampson's of (Hillsong) bad decision and outlook in life. Its totally wrong and sinful. Neither will I agree with his demonic behavior and attitude towards God, His truth and God's Word.
Our response to this kind of lifestyle is Prayer. (Ephesians 6:7- 20). The enemy will destroy us from within! From within our hearts, within our churches, within our organizations, and within the Christian Music Industries.
We can still sing their songs without thinking of the sinful writers, but the annointing of God to the written songs.
May this will not divide and distract Christians to the real heartbeat and focus of Christianity- "To love the Lord our God, and to love others. God bless us all!

Illegal Immigration and Its Pain
Some Illegal Immigrants used their children as their pawn to enter and to live in the USA illegally. When they got caught; the Main Stream Media, the Democrats, and Liberals used the Illegal Immigrants' children to Politicize and make DonaldTrump @POTUS and his administration look bad. They blamed the president for all the separations of the families. Why not blame the parents who broke the Law of the land.
The parents knew they are living in the US illegally, and they knew there will be consequences if they get caught. They knew that they will be incarcerated. They knew that they will be separated from their minors if they get busted. But they have the guts to stay because they may have thought that the Media is on their side, as well as the Democrats, and Liberals based on their open borders policy.
Let ICE, Homeland Security, and the President do their jobs. If these children will be temporarily separated from their parents, it will never be the Law Enforcers' faults nor the President's. They must respect the Law of the land, and they must respect those who are involved in maintaining Peace and Order.
If these people did not like the place where they are being confined; imagine if they are jailed in their Country of origin. I promise you, for sure, they will not be treated like VIP's or the jail's conditions or the process of staging until deportations could be worst than they could ever think of.
The politicians should stop using the Immigration issues for their Political advantage. Illegal immigration is very destructive and it destabilizes the government.
If you don't want to sleep in your hotel room or in your house with strangers or someone who doesn't have an identity, why allow it in such a big land wherein its even harder to identify and know them personally? Extreme and meticulous vetting is necessary before we even let any refugees enter our borders.
Illegal Immigrants in the USA are consuming Taxpayers money through Healthcare. They used the Law Enforcers' time in the expense of Taxpayers money. They've taken jobs below minimum wage without a single cent being taken as a tax (Under the Table)- plus they don't file taxes. Their children go to school in the expense of Taxpayers.
Immigration is good but it must be done in a legal way. I am a Filipino- American, and I went through a painful and expensive process to be able to raise my right hand in front of a judge to pledge my allegiance to this country and its flag, and obtain or claim my citizenship.
If you are a citizen of the USA; your concern and loyalty must be on its citizens, on its Law Enforcers such as ICE and Homeland Security, and on its Peace and Order, as well as for the benefits of this land... And of course, to its Flag and Constitution.
I suggest, if you are living in the USA illegally, you start packing now before you hit the pain and anguish of separation. Or get an Immigration Lawyer and see if you can settle down your situation legally.

Don't Major on Minor!
Church music, form of worship, dress code, and musical instruments you use at church is not even a minor doctrine in the Bible. Those are preferences. Major on Missions, Evangelism, Morality, and Maintaining your good testimony. When we get to heaven, God will not ask us what kind of music we used to worship Him. Or what kind of musical instruments we used to praise Him. Neither will He ask us if we follow the legalistic view and dress code of our pastor. He will not require us to give an account of why church 'A' plays better and professionally during worship. (May be because they are talented, they practice well, and they practice hard during the week for excellence. No wonder they sound like they play like they're in a concert hall.) God will not judge church 'D' for playing a lousy music on Sundays either.
What's wrong with today's divisive, critical, legalistic, and narrow minded Christians? Are we going to judge other Christians and churches by their music, form of worship, musical instruments, and the clothes they wear on worships? Will it make you a better Christian because you are conservative on such practices. Will it make you more Biblical for being different from the modernists? Will it means you are more closer to God for being a traditionalist or conservative and vice versa? These are all not the Bible's standard of godliness. It's not even what God requires of us.
I love traditional worship, and I enjoy other worship other than HARD ROCK music during worship. But I respect those who worship God in Spirit and in Truth although Hard Rock Music is not my type of genre. I consider it sin to judge them for the music they play on worship. Only God can judge us.
God said; "And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbor as himself, is more than all the whole burnt offerings and sacrifices." (Mark 12:33 KJV) Love is the key. To love them is more important than what we offer at the altar. To love our fellow believers is more valuable to God than our preferences on worship. To love them is more Biblical than our disagreement of them in terms of how they worship and the music they use.
Bottomline- Respect them, don't be critical of them, serve God with them (don't distance yourself from them), and love them. Be Kingdom Focus. Don't focus on yourself or practices and or on your church cultures- but let it be on HIS KINGDOM.

Like a broken vessel with patches- millions needs to hear the gospel, and they are waiting to be pick up to be mold, to mend their broken hearts and lives, and to make them what God wanted them to be.
Love and humility are the hardest virtues for every believer to exercise or put into practice. It is especially with regards to the unloving proud person or to a rebellious child or children.

The doctor said of this kid in the picture below more than 19 years ago; "We have to abort him because he may have heart problems, mental illness, or down syndrome." We told her; "We believe the baby was God's gift to us. We will keep the baby, and love and take care of him no matter what. If we need to spend all our life and time taking care of him in his whole lifetime, we will do it." My wife and the baby were near death before and after the surgery, but God spared their life.
I wonder why our politicians are so busy with those who don't need them yet. They are more concerned with those who can't vote for them yet. They spend so much time, energy, and money for those who can't make a decision for themselves yet. But they kept their eyes closed for those who need them the most. The roads, the schools and school systems, the problems with crimes, and the needy veterans needs their help and decision for the betterment of their State. Problems in the communities are overwhelming and overlooked. Why not do something about it?
Politicians, keep your eyes and hands off of the babies and do your job of which voters have put you in position. Voters did not vote for you to kill the babies but to help and protect! Now stop this non sense please.

Abortion is About Math, Science, and Common Sense.
When I was in Elementary grade more than 50 years ago, we were taught in Math about Living and Non Living things. The non living things has no breath, and the living things has breath. Therefore, if the unborn is a thing then it should not be breathing. If the 8 months old baby in the womb is breathing, and have heartbeat, it means its human being and not a thing or non living things. It is very elemental. I don't know which part of the Math- oh I know it's not Math but we count it on Cencus once the baby is delivered, or technically counted as an additional to the family already.
God forbid, if there is an accident and the mother died or were hurt with her baby in the womb; statistically- it is counted two (deaths or hurts on any reports. Which of this logic, science, math, or common sense does your politicians (most of them are Democrats) don't understand? If you cut off the heartbeat of an unborn baby by abortion, its purely murder, killing, and disgusting. This country (The USA) spend billions of dollars to protect other nations from dictatorships, cyanide, war, hunger, and other threats, but can't protect its own unborn citizens from evil and baby killers politicians.
We go to war because we care for those who might get hurt or killed by their own evil president or leaders, but we gave our elected politicians a standing ovation and provided financial support to those who killed and planned to kill innocent and helpless babies in our own land. Is it not injustice to those who cannot depend themselves? Is it not abused of power of our elected politicians? They were called smart and wise in eyes of man, but evil, wicked, disgusting, and a fool in the sight of God.
I wonder if they know how it feels to be poisoned slowly, and be killed slowly with those medical instruments and medicines?
We can help the mothers understand when they are in pain and can be comforted with words and pain reliever, and make them understand the situation. Obviously, its impossible to do the same to the babies.
Stop all kinds and types of abortion! Give them the chance to live. Be grateful to your parents for letting you see the light and the beauty of the world. Pay it forward and let them (the babies) live! God will requires the blood of each baby in your hand if you are taking part on this evil thing. (Ezekiel 24:9 KJV) Therefore thus saith the Lord God ; Woe to the bloody city! I will even make the pile for fire great.

"In thee have they taken gifts to shed blood; thou hast taken usury and increase, and thou hast greedily gained of thy neighbours by extortion, and hast forgotten me, saith the Lord God . I pray that our elected politicians will focus on the needs of their community or State, and not on those babies who can't speak for themselves, defenseless, and innocent. Our community, every State, and the whole country have needs more important than killing those innocent babies- why not focus on those problems and necessities? May God will give our politicians the needed wisdom and prudence in such a time as these. God bless America!

Caller: "Hello Ely, I'm calling about your book 'The New Christmas Every Day'. It has a great potential because this book has a good recommendation from (company) and this company gave your book an 8 points..."
Me: "Excuse me, what company again?"
Caller: "Ely, do you speak English?"
Me: "And you just asked me about my book 'The New Christmas Every Day', and obviously it's in English. And you're asking me if I speak English. You're funny."
He probably can't believe he asked me that question. I laughed so hard during our conversation.
'Abortion issue' will give @realDonaldTrump @POTUS another 4 years in White House. I love it! It will for sure drive all the Democrats and babies killer to the swamp.
If you kill an animal in the busy streets of New York City, I'm 100% sure you will be beat up, or encarcerated, be dead in a minute or ridiculed. They sign a bill on murdering the innocent babies and they got standing ovation. An ordinary citizen who does not take care of their pet/s or physically abused their pets gets a citation, tickets, court appearance, or jail time. But the lawmakers who supposed to be making some good laws and laws that protects the lives of the helpless and innocents were applauded and got standing ovation for their evil bill on late termed abortion. Andrew Cuomo will bow down to God one day for his deadly signature. Pervert!
In New York City, you can spend jail time for animal cruelty but get paid to kill the innocent and helpless human being. Pervert!
Abortion is Evil, Demonic, Immoral and Wicked!
Christians- let us all pray for New York Gov. Cuomo and the lawmakers who authored the bill on late abortion. Pray that the babies that will be murdered (I hope no one) will give them nightmares. Pray that the aborted babies or God will wake them up in the middle of the night and convict them until they all repent and ask God for forgiveness for their part on the murder they committed on innocent babies. Pray that pregnant women will refuse to submit to this devilish, demonic, and immoral bill. One day, these evil politicians will give an account to God, so are the doctors who perform such wicked devices and practice. Its perversion at its worst. - Philippians 2:15 KJV That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
Putting Up Walls Was Not and Could Never be Immoral!
Walls and Fences are not just something we put up for our own privacy but for our own protection. Walls and Fences is never and were not designed for political reasons, neither for people to exercise their moral responsibility or to display their personal conviction, but for personal, family and country's protection and privacy and ownership.
We set up security cameras and security personnel as well for the same reasons.
You put fences or walls in your property. Or spend thousands of dollars to live in a gated apartment or subdivision to keep you and your family safe from the intruders and unwelcome guests. It is just right to spend billions of dollars for the wall at the borders now to keep us safe and the future generations as well from illegal entries of uncivilized intruders.
During the Bible times; they built walls for protection, seclusion, security, and ownership. They have homes with walls and even town and cities that were fenced or walled. (Leviticus 14:37- 39; Deuteronomy 3:5; 28:52) You may have heard of “Wall of Jericho” of which God caused the wall to fall down and levelled to the ground with His mighty hands. In the New Testament, apostle Paul was let down by the wall in a basket. (Acts 9:25)
According to Wikipedia; “The Walls of Benin were a combination of ramparts and moats, called Iya in the local language, used as a defense of the ancient kingdom of Benin, which is present-day Benin City, the capital of present-day Edo, Nigeria. It was considered the largest man-made structure lengthwise and was hailed as the largest earthwork in the world.”
President Donald Trump may break this record with his proposed Wall at the Southern border. Indeed, the Wall at the Southern border is the best way for defense against all crimes, terrorism, and uncivilized intruders.
The Great Wall of China may give us more ideas to relate on our present dilemma with the Caravans and illegal immigrants coming and trying to enter our borders illegally. If we say the “Wall is Immoral"- we are concluding that China was wrong, and all the people, cultures, countries in Bible times as well as people and countries who made walls based on historical records were wrong and Immorals.
We love the illegal immigrants, but we hate their lawlessness. Every asylees must go through the legal process to enter our soil.
This is not political but practical and Biblical. If the politicians, celebrities, and wealthy people put up walls and fences in their homes and properties, why not for the sake of our people and country? We even put up fences to protect our roosters, horses and animals, why not for our citizens? May our politicians will stop playing politics and work hard to make this happen and get this thing done.
We send our money and military power and resources to countries who needed them and it costs us billions of dollars; why it is not possible for the Wall at the Southern border? Politicians, the media, and the citizens had the record of your stance on issues regarding Immigration, protection, and defense at the Southern borders, as well as the Wall. You may play politics today, but on Election Day; your constituents will do the same to you.
If money and time was not an issue for you to put up a Wall in your property or properties, why it would be for the people? There is no money involved for you, just your time, a nod, and a pen.

New Year?
I don't need a new year's resolution. I don't care about hocus pocus of wealth and prosperity. I will not waste my time of people's "Do this, and don't do this list" for a blessed and successful new year. I would not give a second to money pyramid, or send this back and some huge cash and blessings or miracle will come your way scam. But...
I will cling and abide in my Lord and God and in His Word. I will examine and re-examine my heart and mind. I will focus and re-focus in the Lord Jesus Christ. I will live for Christ and in Christ, and faithfully re-live His Word if I have leaned on the other side of the fence. I will resolve to love the Lord, His Word, and my family. I will search and re-search my heart, my mind and my motives. I will count and re-count my blessings to make sure I will not miss the smallest and tinest of them so I will not be ungrateful in life, to God, to my wife and children.
I will remember and fulfill my promises, and if I falter, may God will remind me and give me the grace to do it. I wanted to be reminded by God that I was picked up by Him in the mud of sin, and I'm so ashamed of myself just to think about it. But I love sharing it for the sake of Christ, for His honor and glory, and for the salvation of the lost. I want to be persecuted by my own conscience and conviction if I am becoming arrogant and proud. I want to keep my struggles with pride and arrogance so I will not take this sin so lightly.
I want to clean and re-clean this little vessel called heart so I could always look at my wife and children in their eyes and not be worried of my integrity, my hidden sin in my private life, and most of all- I can do the work of my Lord without unconfess sins in my life. I desire to pray David's prayer; "Lord create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me.
I hate it when people judge me, and I hope I will have the same hatred in my self when I judged them. I want God to shut me up if I gossip by the working of the Holy Spirit. May God will give me the grace to look at people the way God sees them. May I will not be critical to others but encourage and edify, and lift them up instead. I will not let jealousy sink in and envy distract me. I will rejoice in others' accomplishments and successes.
I desire to be passionate in missions, evangelism, and church planting. May my heartbeat be the heartbeat of God.
My most faithful supporter is my wife from my seminary time until this present time. She don't want me to work outside of church and ministry so I could concentrate on what I'm doing in missions, writing or ministry as a whole.
Whatever success I have in life is because of my Savior and King- The Lord Jesus Christ. My wife Vem who stand along with me. My children who are Godly, and serving the Lord in their area, and with their talents. My in laws (Wasim and Judy) who loves my children and very supportive of them.

People are dying lost and are going through pain and tears. It's time for us to ask God to send revival in our hearts. May we desire the heart, the eyes, the hands, the ears, and the feet of God so we can feel the needs, the pain, most of all, we will see the lost world.
Let this be your prayer and desire for the New Year.
