The Rich and the Poor

As a middle class citizen in America:
I can eat the food the wealthiest person will prepare for meal anytime of the day. We can travel from point a to point b with our own car, and be stuck at the traffic or be cut off by a jerk driver. We both can enjoy the heat and air at home 24/7 all year long. We have the same problems: money, bills to pay, debts, difficult people, pressures, discouragement, and disappointment just to name a few...

The rich will one day see his or her doctor or be admitted to a hospital so have I. The wealthiest person have problems at home, at work or business, and I can't escape the same dilemmas in life. They get up every morning to get ready for meetings, business, for work or to drive to their office. There is no difference with the coffee we drink, the sunshine or rain we enjoy, or the cold and hot weather we feel, and the snow we see.

At the end of the day, we will both take off our suit, jacket, or uniform to eat our dinner and put our head in bed for a good night sleep. But some of the wealthy people I know can't sleep at night for different reasons. They can buy sleeping pills but they cannot buy their sleep. When I put my head on my pillow after I read my Bible and pray; I will be sleeping like a cow, because I snore like a cow. As you can tell, I typed this article at 5 am after a good night sleep.

Is it bad to be rich? No! Noah was rich. He was the first man to own a huge cruise ship with all kinds of animals and fruits and vegetables as cargoes. Abraham was wealthy. He owns huge properties, cemeteries, and all kinds of animals and wealth.King David obviously was rich as well as his son king Solomon. There is nothing wrong with wealth or richest. But the rich people must bear in mind that we will all leave everything behind. We will all die and be buried in the same dirt. We will all stand in the presence of God to give an account of what we have done in this life. We have the same maker and soon stand on the same Judge- the Lord Jesus Christ. - Proverbs 22:2 KJV The rich and poor meet together: the Lord is the maker of them all.

The unbelieving wealthy people invests their riches for themselves and personal interests. I invest for God. They are goal oriented and focused on temporal, I am for eternal. Matthew 6:19-21 KJV Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: [20] But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: [21] For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Don't feel bad or feel sorry for yourself because you are poor. If you're a Christian and you invest your time, your treasure, and your talents for God- you are good, you are doing the right thing, and you are way better off than the wealthiest person living...

Be content, be happy, enjoy life and every bit of it, and rejoice in the Lord.

Apostle Paul was in prison and was not in comfort zone but notice what he wrote to remind us all: Philippians 4:4-13 KJV
Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. [5] Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. [6] Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. I started smoking marijuana when I was 12 years old, and I got addicted with it in my teens. I craved for a higher doses... It's how I started with other drugs, and became addicted to both marijuana and drugs. If I did not get to know God and asked Him to forgive me and cleanse me; I may have been 6 feet under the ground, in Mental health, in Federal Prison, or may be at home counting the holes in our roof, staring at the wall of our house day and night, or may be following the lead of the insects in our floor.

The worst thing that I could do to others, including my friends and families were to hurt them or kill them. God saving Grace is what leads me to where I am today. I thank the Lord for the blessed hope. (Titus 2:13 KJV

Why I Can't and Will Never Be a Racist!

I can't and will never be a racist. My grand father on my father side were from India, on my mother side were from Spain, and I was born in the Philippines with Filipino blood, but I live in the USA with American culture and mind set. I have children with dark skin, light skin, and brown skin, but definitely with red blood. And we are all washed by the blood of the Lamb- the Lord Jesus Christ.

Racism is evil, unacceptable, and bad for any country or culture. It is hate and diabolical mind set that is being used by the devil and pride of life. It destroys families, friendships, cultures and the country's progress and prosperity. It deminishes love and unity and replaced it with hate and violence. It is disgraceful to watch people show their respect, love and acceptance, only to people of the same color or economic background. Along with it, they favor or put a bifurcation line based on religious belief, the clothes they wear, and even on their culture.

They embraced superiority complex instead of love and understanding. They assumed that if you have different color of skin or you have different clothing- you either don't speak the language, you are not a citizen of this country or you don't belong here.

I personally suggest to everyone to travel and feel the culture, and how people lives on the other side of the globe. You will not and never appreciate the cultural diversity that God made, and the blessing of how other people treat others, the elderly, and their parents unless you come out of the four corners of your home.

I was at the Mall a year ago talking to a very nice and decent young African- American gentleman when the bus stopped in front of us. Then there was this young African- American guy whose pants were down and he was skinny. He get off the bus, rushed in front of us, and without introducing himself point his finger to me and asked; "Do you speak English?". I was thinking, how could I ever answer him if I don't. There is no way I would even understand what he was talking about. The gentleman that I was talking with just looked at him in disbelief.

By the way, someone ask me  when I was at the airport down south as I was coming out of restroom the same question. I asked him first how he was doing. He replied and asked me if I speak English. It was kind of weird, right? No matter what language you speak, what the color of your skin is, or what economic and religious background you have- we are all the same in the sight of God. We were born in the same world, we will die in this world, and we will all be dusts and nothing after death.

Learn to understand and respect others, and respect and understand other cultures. Don't look at the color of their skin, but look at them in their eyes with the eyes of love, just how the way God looks on everyone of us. May we will start our day, and end it with the mind set that we may have been born in a great country, and with a different color of skin from our next door neighbors; but remember, we are all human beings, with feelings, desires for acceptance and love, and wanted peace, unity, and understanding. President Rodrigo Duterte Must Not Resign Amidst Proof of the Existence of God!

Why President Rodrigo Duterte Need to Look at Himself to Prove that There is God?

I don't want president Rodrigo Duterte to resign on any reason even if he wanted to, because he is a good leader and president. And there is no need to prove to him the existence of God because God has declared it and revealed Himself through creations. (Psalm 19:1) God also revealed Himself through His Word, history, and the Lord Jesus Christ. But Mr. Duterte cannot refute the proof of the changed lives of those who submit to God, and believe in Him through faith and repentance. When they look up to the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ according to the Scriptures, their lives was never been the same.

This is the the proof that may be very offensive to the president. And with due respect to him as a leader of whom I greatly admired; President Rodrigo Duterte is one of the proof of the existence of God. His foolishness of not believing in God is the proof in itself. All he have to do is to look at himself, check his heart and mind, and read this verses of the Scriptures. Psalm 53:1 KJV "The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good." And (Psalm 14:1).

Here is more if that hurts already, 1 Corinthians 1:18-31 KJV "For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. [19] For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. [20] Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? [21] For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. [22] For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: [23] But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; [24] But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. [25] Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. Let me say this to the pastors, the priests, and especially the Christians: don't put your president in your spiritual, religious, and Biblical standards. Pray for him and ask God to touch his heart. Tell him the truth in love through mass media especially in social media where most of the common people can read it. This could be God's hands in the making- so everyone in the Philippines and the whole world could start searching for the truth, and seek God's face. And they will turn from the man- made god to the true living God.

The writings of Apostle Paul in the book of Romans should have been a good reminder to almost 90% of Filipinos, especially the religious leaders of the huge group of churches. -Romans 1:16-32 KJV "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. [17] For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. [18] For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; [19] Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. [20] For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: [21] Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
