Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 19:1 KJV [1] Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, than he that is perverse in his lips, and is a fool.

Perverseness is as old as the fall of man, for all of it was due to the sin of man. Therefore we may we live by it, live with it, live for it, or try to overcome it. Perverse are the ones who oppose the truth of God, and perverse are the people who stand against the Word of God.

I- People with perverse lips- Proverbs 4:24 KJV [24] Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.

II- People with perverse ways- Proverbs 14:2 KJV [2] He that walketh in his uprightness feareth the Lord : but he that is perverse in his ways despiseth him.

III- People with perverse minds- 1 Timothy 6:5 KJV [5] Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

Verse to Ponder: Deuteronomy 32:5 KJV
[5] They have corrupted themselves, their spot is not the spot of his children: they are a perverse and crooked generation.

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 18:2 KJV [2] A fool hath no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself.

Delight is the word that could make you desire, until you discover the blessings God has prepared, oh! What an honor when sometimes you have to change, even the message with pleasure to share, as you try to discover what God have for the world.

I- Delight in the Lord- Psalm 37:4 KJV [4] Delight thyself also in the Lord ; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

II- Delight in God' Word- Psalm 1:2 KJV [2] But his delight is in the law of the Lord ; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

III- Delight in Justice- Proverbs 11:1 KJV [1] A false balance is abomination to the Lord : but a just weight is his delight.

Verse to Ponder: Proverbs 11:20 KJV [20] They that are of a froward heart are abomination to the Lord : but such as are upright in their way are his delight.

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

If you think of the word "clean" here's what come to our minds; food, laundry, home, drinks or something you always have in your hands. We may exercise cleanliness every day in our body, but spiritual cleansing does not comes from what we've done or do for ourselves or for the benefits of others.

http://www.ely-roque-sagansay.com

I- Cleansing only comes from God through the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.- 1 John 1:7 KJV [7] But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

II- Cleansing happens after confessing our sins and repentance- 1 John 1:9 KJV [9] If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

III- Cleansing is not by animal sacrifices or ritual, but by Christ's death on the cross.- Hebrews 9:12-13 KJV [12] Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us . [13] For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:

Verse to Ponder: Jeremiah 33:8 KJV [8] And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against me.

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 15:1 KJV [1] A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.

http://www.ely-roque-sagansay.com

"Stir" if you may, according to some writer it means more than a spoon or something to mix and shake on your coffee. A spiritual meaning will help bless the thirsty soul, as you stirs up the gift, the talent, and the Word you preach!

http://bookstore.westbowpress.com/Products/SKU-000972320/The-New-Christmas-Every-Day.aspx

I- Stir up your gift for God to encourage and to edify for God- 2 Timothy 1:6 KJV [6] Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.

II- Stir up the believers in their spirituality- Acts 17:13 KJV [13] But when the Jews of Thessalonica had knowledge that the word of God was preached of Paul at Berea, they came thither also, and stirred up the people.

III- Stir your church and ministry for growth and God's glory- 2 Peter 1:13 KJV [13] Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance;

http://www.barnesandnoble.com/mobile/w/thanksgiving-every-day-ely-roque-sagansay/1116821340

Verse to Ponder: 2 Peter 3:1 KJV [1] This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 14:1 KJV [1] Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.

"Wise" is the the word this old world have known, yet man made a fool of the wisdom of God, it might be reckless to say; "How foolish it could be, to gain knowledge that will just pass away", but God's wise counsel is what we need in these days.

I- The foolish who profess to be wise- Romans 1:21-22 KJV [21] Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. [22] Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

II- The foolishness of God is wiser than men- 1 Corinthians 1:25 KJV [25] Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

III- God chose the foolish things of the world to rebuke the wise- 1 Corinthians 1:27 KJV [27] But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

Verse to Ponder: James 3:13 KJV [13] Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
