Mi Daily Devotion
(Isaiah 28:16) “Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.”
Our salvation is in the hand of a good Shepherd, and it’s in a right and solid foundation- the Lord Jesus Christ our blessed hope. Jesus is the Rock of ages and the Rock that never age. There is no valid reason to put your trust and entrust your life to a man made religion. If you have a heaven made religion which is our Lord Jesus Christ; other so called ‘religion’ is just another denomination. There is no point of entrusting your life and the life to come to something, when you can put your trust to Someone who gave His life for our sins and our salvation. It is a choice between a sinking sand or the solid Rock. The Bible says; “According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. 11- For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” (I Corinthians 3:10-11)

What
Made the Great Leader Nelson Mandela Different from Other Leaders…?
Observing the life of Mr. Mandela since he was an
ordinary man until he became a great leader, I have learned a few things in his
leadership:
· He Listens to His subordinates.
· He
is Open to Any Ideas.
· He
Learned to Work with His Opponents in Politics, even with His enemies (if you
will call it as such...)
· He
Learn to Forgive.
· He
Don’t Dwell in the Past.
· He
Don’t Take Politics in a Personal Way.
· He
is Focus, He Lived to What He said, and He was Honest to Himself and to His
People.
We have seen and been under different leaderships; be it at work, in school, at church, in any organizations and governments in the world. If you are a leader, it means you have responsibilities and rightful duties. And as a leader, the only time you lift up your finger is when you point to your followers, to your disciples, and to your constituents the right direction and the way to success. You influenced them by pointing them to the path of success. Your finger is a great instrument to use to point to the failure/failures you made so they won’t take the same path or make the same mistake as you did. You will be more concern about their future than what others may say about you. You will travel an extra mile for their good, for their success and for their future even if it takes your time and a step to sacrifices. You walk, you fly, and you may drive to show your love and concern to them and not for your personal interest. Humility is the key to unity and understanding. You will let the Lord lead you and you will be submissive to the greater power and authority. Their success will be your success. I like the leadership of Mr. Nelson Mandela and he is a great example for politicians to follow; but no one is greater and a perfect leader than the Lord Jesus Christ.

Mi Daily Devotion
(Lamentations 3:24, 26) ” The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. 26- It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.”
We were called to serve God, our family, others and in our respective ministry and churches. In our service to the King, we can definitely put our trust in Him because our hope is in Him alone. (Ephesians 1:18- 19) As we serve Him with great hope and expectation, we must also remember to live our life as believers with love, purity and be a testimony of His grace. We can always expect God to work in us and through us in spite of difficulties and struggles. “There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;” (Ephesians 4:4) Let us be an encouragement to this hopeless generation. Our expectation, exhortation, and example should shade hope to the hopeless and should help and encourage others. Apostle Paul wrote; “Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. (Romans 15:13-14)

Mi Daily Devotion
Titus 3:5- “Not by works of
righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by
the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;”
The Lord Jesus Christ is the only reason
which made the hope of eternal life so easy to believe in. The components of love,
mercy and the grace that comes with it of which He bestowed upon us is beyond
our human comprehension. No wonder when Jesus cried out “It is Finished” at the
cross of Calvary more than 2,000 years ago; He shouted with a big package
offered in the throne of God for the deteriorated, sinful, wicked and hopeless
humanity. We have a promise to discover and we can be certain of what we have
in Christ Jesus our Lord. We can have God’s salvation through the death, burial
and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. But someone has to decide to believe
in and to receive that promise by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible
said; “11- For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid,
which is Jesus Christ.” (I Corinthians 3:11)

(II Timothy 2:10) “But thou hast fully
known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity,
patience,
One of the thing that is not tangible or visible to
the naked eye in your life is the respect that you gain from those who knows
you as an individual. People who don’t know you will never see it until they see
how you act and react to both positive and negative things in life. Don’t lost
that important thing in life-“ respect”. If you lost your respect from your
family circle or subordinate and church members, like what a friend of mine used
to say; “You’re done man”. Win and gain their respect by being a man or woman
God wanted you to be. Learn from Apostle Paul in his letter to young Timothy; “10-
Ye are witnesses, and God also, how holily and justly
and unblameably we behaved ourselves among you that believe: 11- As ye know how
we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father doth his
children, 12- That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his
kingdom and glory.” (I Timothy 2:10- 12)

Mi Daily Devotion
(Genesis 19:8- 9) “8- Behold now, I have
two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto
you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing;
for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof. 9- And they said, Stand
back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will
needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they
pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door.”
Liberal means
- “not strict or
rigorous; free; not literal: a liberal interpretation of a rule.” (Dictionary.com) Lot was so liberal in his stand on moral issues, his dealings with
his family, his Biblical stand and his lifestyle as well. He was a leftists or
on the negative side of the wings. No wonder Lot messed up his family’s life
and he lost the respect of his children and his wife. When you trade God,
family, the truth, God’s Word and your moral values for money, for the good of
your party, or for power; you are in a wrong direction. (Genesis 19:5) “And
they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to
thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.” Jesus said; “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be
free indeed.” (John 8:36)

Mi Daily Devotion
(Titus 1:1) “1- Paul, a servant of God,
and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the
acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;”
Paul in his Epistle declared himself servant of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Some politicians after they strive to gain power over the government or after
a coup d’etat (sudden or forceful overthrow of the present government); they
declared themselves as the new president or leader. And they proudly tell the
whole world of their new status, power, government and authority. But to
Apostle Paul, its about putting God and others above himself, its about service and its about His Lord
and Master. I’m very much sure that his credentials were unquestionable. The
Lord Jesus Christ Himself was the one who ordained him a preacher of the gospel
while Paul was on his way to Damascus (Acts 9:1-9). Paul was a preacher of
Christ called not to build his (Paul) own kingdom, but the kingdom of God. And we must
do the same- serve our Lord and King. Paul wrote; “11- As ye know how we exhorted and comforted and charged
every one of you, as a father doth his children, 12- That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you
unto his kingdom and glory.” (I Thessalonians 2:11- 12)

Proverbs 18:11 “The rich man's wealth is his strong city, and as an high wall in his own
conceit.”
If you put your wealth, personal gain
and personal interests ahead of God and family; you are in a wrong direction. A
life that is centered on treasures and with the worldly riches in mind will
surely live on it and may die for it. Their mind set is centered on wealth
instead of seeking God first and putting their family first as their set up priorities. You can know a
person’s priorities even in his decisions. Your perspective in life will help
determine your future. Man’s perspective in life will show in his daily decision
making process. We must ask ourselves questions like these: Am I God-centered,
gold centered, gain centered or self centered? Jesus
said; “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and
all these things shall be added unto you. (Matthew 6:33)
