If Money Can Talk...
If this $50.00 bill and other bigger bills can talk; they will boast of the places they've been, the people they meet, the palace, hotels, casino, executive and exclusive clubs they've passed through. Unfortunately, if the dollar bill can speak; he will tell us his experienced in the offering plates in Christian churches. He will share his testimony how he has been used as an official bill for missions and missionaries. He will share to us how he has been a blessing to a pastor when he needed help for a church project or the cause for evangelism.
While Mr. and Mrs. $100.00 $50.00 with their children big $20.00, sister $10.00 and little $5.00 are on vacation somewhere, or feeding their pets at home, oh, may be they are at the liquor store for Mr. and Mrs. Cigar and Bud light. Anyways, I'm sure famous $1.00 bill at church is making another sacrifice for another Christian this Sunday.
Did I hit your conscience or your pockets and bank accounts? If you think its true, could you at least save Mr. and Mrs. $100.00 $50.00 for Sunday, because I know for sure God gave you good health and a job to save someone from hell or expand the Lord's kingdom; not burn that money for pets, for pleasures, or personal satisfaction.
Give Mr. $1.00 a rest from being passed and made sit in the church's offering plate every Sunday and to many churches already. Save that tithes and offering, and mission giving for Sunday. Your pastor will not always tell you that because he don't want to sound like a broken records to YOU!
2 Corinthians 8:1-9 KJV
Moreover, brethren, we do you to wit of the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia; [2] How that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality. [3] For to their power, I bear record, yea, and beyond their power they were willing of themselves; [4] Praying us with much intreaty that we would receive the gift, and take upon us the fellowship of the ministering to the saints. [5] And this they did , not as we hoped, but first gave their own selves to the Lord, and unto us by the will of God. [6] Insomuch that we desired Titus, that as he had begun, so he would also finish in you the same grace also. [7] Therefore, as ye abound in every thing, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love to us, see that ye abound in this grace also. [8] I speak not by commandment, but by occasion of the forwardness of others, and to prove the sincerity of your love. [9] For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.
