Why Many Young People Are a Messed
I hit my kids with belt or stick to discipline them as they grow up. Not a surprise for me and my wife if they don't hit or hate people or go with the wrong crowd. Did I regret it? No. It hurts me for a while but it pays off for them and me and my wife. Painful and Strict Discipline is what's lacking in many homes. Many parents are creating 'Cry Babies' and snowflakes under their own roof; no wonder millions of new generation young people are easily offended, unpatriotic, lazy, impatience, and cry babies. The sad part is, if they're in drugs, violence, or living in hate.
You can't say you love your children if you can't break their bad attitudes, their willful and disobedient hearts, and their evil deeds with discipline. You're children's lifestyle is the reflection of how you treat them as they grow up under your authority. You may abuse or not use such authority. But remember that when God gave you your child or children; God at the same time entrusted to you the whole duties, responsibilities, love, and the rearing of a human being that will reflect His image. Be loving, understanding, but don't let them pass the belt of discipline if they are disrespectful, disobedient, divisive, and if they disregard their duties consistently.
If you teach them the Fear of God, the Holy Word of God, and to respect the authority- they will embrace those as they start living by themselves or when they start their own family. (Proverbs 22:5). Love them, warn them, and use strict disciple if they are disobedient, disrespectful and rebellious. (Ephesians 6:1- 8) This Country needs good, godly, and God fearing parents. May we all spread the holy image of God by strengthening our relationship with our spouses, loving and spending time with our children, and by teaching them to be like Jesus. God bless you, your home, and the future of your family.
