Mi Daily Devotion

“And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth. 18- But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.” (Deuteronomy 8:17- 18)
The principles during Moses' times- "I did it my way..." It’s the same principles and philosophy we exercise. Who is your treasure... or what are your true treasures? Do you believe that your treasures and wealth is from the Lord and it must be for the Lord? Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20- But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:” (Matthew 6:19- 20) Do you put God first in your job, in your business, in any source of income that you may have or in your life? Did you know that what you have today is all because of God’s grace and mercy? People become so proud, arrogant and self- sufficient once they made it to the top. Remember God in everything you do and in all you have in life. Meditate and ponder on what the Bible said: And it shall be, if thou do at all forget the LORD thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish.” (Deuteronomy 8: 19)

Mi Daily Devotion

(Mark 7:20- 21) And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. 21- For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, 22- Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: “
We are either hoarding money and material things or hoarding sins in our hearts. Are you a Christian who keeps sins in your heart? Do you have grudges and bitterness? Is your heart clean and clear from any hidden sin or hatred? David said; Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:” (Psalm 139:23) Will you be able to look at your love ones or friends right in their eyes knowing that you don’t have anything to hide from them? Will you be able to look at them in their eyes knowing that you have no hidden agenda and you don’t keep any bitterness and wrath in your heart against them? Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:” (Ephesians 4: 31) Did you know that sin in your heart can hinder God from answering your prayers. “If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:” (Psalm 66:18)

Mi Daily Devotion

(Matthew 6:25) “Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?”
Worry is like a ferris wheel or a see saw, it puts you into motion but won’t take you anywhere. Why do we worry so much? What are the reasons why people worry and what causes it? Do you believe fear and lack of faith can leads to worry? Do you worry more than you’re supposed to pray? Is your faith strong enough to overcome worry? Do you believe in the principles of “Why worry when you can pray? Are you a captive of worry or you have learned to cast your care upon the Lord? (I Peter 5:7) What do you do to conquer and overcome worry? Do you check on what the Word of God says about worry? Do you rest in the Lord? Re-focus your heart and mind to God and trust Him for everything. “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6- In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths”. (Proverbs 3:5- 6) “Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” (Matthew 6: 34)

Mi Daily Devotion

Mi Daily Devotion
(Galatians 5:22- 23) “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23- Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”
Do you have the fruit of the Spirit? What is the fruit of your spirit? What and who controls you? Are you living in the flesh or living in the spirit? Is your life a living testimony of God’s love? Do you have joy in your heart? Do you have what Paul said in (Philippians 4:7) “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding…” It’s the peace that God alone can give. Would you be willing to live through the guidance of the Holy Spirit of God? Do you trust the Lord to give you the grace to be fruitful and bless? Are you willing to “let go” of your fleshly desire and your sin for Christ’s and the gospel’s sake? Be firm and walk through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.  9- Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.” (Philippians 4:8- 9)

MI Daily Devotion
(Mark 10:19; II Timothy 3:16) “Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother.” This could be a perfect question from a perfect God: Thou knowest the commandments?”What is the significance and how does the Bible affect your life, your family and your decisions in life? What does the Word of God say about life, about man and salvation? Is the Bible accurate what it says about God, about creations, about heaven and about its prophecies? Is it accurate about its prophecies regarding the future of the church? Would you claim what Jesus said in John 15:7 in your life? Jesus said: “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” How about if He will tell you this: “And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape. 38- And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not. 39- Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. 40- And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life. (John 5:37- 40)

Mi Daily Devotion

Mi Daily Devotion (Isaiah 40:7- 8)
The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the LORD bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass. 8- The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever. The Holy Bible is the Word of God. Why do people from ancient times up to this present time tried to destroy the Bible? What made the Bible the most persecuted Book in the history of mankind? Why do we need to believe in the Word of God? Is there any historical proof or spiritual and scientific proof of the Bible as the Word of God? Is the Bible just an ordinary man- made Book or it’s different from all the books in the world? Do you believe that the Bible is God’s love letter to mankind? Trust His Word and His heart. “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. 24- For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:  25- But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.
