Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 19:1 KJV
"Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, than he that is perverse in his lips, and is a fool."

Being poor is not the best thing in life, but to be poor with integrity is one of the best thing we can have in life. The worst enemy of "Best" is "better" but the best friends of "better" are "good" "worst" and "bad". We always make excuses and we use our present situation being "better off" as not to work hard and not to be in our best and for the best. We ceased trying because we know we're not the worst, or we're not that bad and we're better than the good ones. God gave us His best- the Lord Jesus Christ. He prepared something best for us- a home in heaven and eternal life. He created the best and wants to give us the best in the future. - By Ely Roque Sagansay

Practical Reasons Why We Don't Need the Refugees.

They are better off if they will be sent (or sent back) to the Middle Eastern Countries. Reasons; They can speak and understand the language. They are more familiar with the cultures. They eat the same food. It's more expensive to fly them to Europe, Asia, or USA. It's for our own safety, and we have millions of homeless in this country already. I'm sure they (the Refugees) will be treated fairly or highly by this administration than the millions of homeless in our big cities, or many parts of our country.

Love and compassion is not the issue; but being smart, wise, and using our God given wisdom. No one in his right mind will let somebody come into their home to sleep, eat, play with their children, etc. not knowing who these people are and much more if you already know that they came from unstable home with violence, and love is unknown to them. Or if they came from a broken home.

I suggest; this administration will take them out of our country or keep them out and send them back to the Middle East. But we must help the country or countries who will adopt them both financial and with logistics. It is not being indifferent to them, but we have our own issues, we have so much domestic problems, we are at risks in terms of our security. We don't know these people!

I hope and pray that the POTUS will listen to the governors and will make a decision regarding this issue with wisdom and prudence. May he will not decide based on what he wants but what's best and safe for our country. God (The Father) in heaven will bless us all, God bless America!
Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 18:1 KJV
"Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom."

"Desire" - Do you have personal desire? If you do, what is your desire? What moves you to accomplish, obtain, gain, or be a success to such desire? If you're hungry you crave and desire for food to eat, and when you're thirsty, you want water and you will do everything to quench your thirst. The book of Psalms says; Psalm 37:4 KJV "Delight thyself also in the Lord ; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart." Apostle Paul has a unique desire, and very passionate about it. He wrote; Romans 10:1 KJV "Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved." Keep that desire in your heart until you get it or the Lord will bid you to let go of such desire. By Ely Roque Sagansay

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 17:1 KJV
"Better is a dry morsel, and quietness therewith, than an house full of sacrifices with strife."

"Dry" is good if it is about a dry land that you need to walk into, a dry sports place, dry clothes to wear, or a dry surface. But it can bring chaos if it's a dry or dried water fountain or water sources. A dry or dried worship is questionable. A dry checking account is a misery, but it's better than a dried heart for God and for His work. A dry Christian is for sure will have a dry relationships with God, his family, and fellow believers. Is your heart, your ministry, your love for God is as dry as Sahara desert? Thus, we have fallow ground... The Bible says; "Jeremiah 4:3 KJV "For thus saith the Lord to the men of Judah and Jerusalem, Break up your fallow ground, and sow not among thorns." Be on fire for Jesus! - By Ely Roque Sagansay

Wisdom of the Day from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 16:1 KJV
"The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the Lord ."

The "heart" of man. The word "heart" minus the letter "T" will leave us the word "hear". The heart that refuses to hear will be a disgrace to God, and is out of the will of God. God wants for us to have a prepared heart for His prepared grace and home in heaven. We need to examine our hearts, and must keep our hearts clean in the sight of God. We know no matter what we would do; our hearts will still be as dark as an underground cave; but we can always come to God for cleansing. Humility and openness of heart is needed. Therefore to hear Him speak is of importance. The Bible says; "Joshua 24:23 KJV "Now therefore put away, said he , the strange gods which are among you, and incline your heart unto the Lord God of Israel." - By Ely Roque Sagansay

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 15:1 KJV
"A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger."

Is it sinful to get angry? Is it a sin to express anger? Anger is an expression of our emotion, and it's also an expression of our dislike, extreme disagreement, hate, etc. Jesus was very angry when He saw the crowd were buying and selling all kinds of worldly things in the temple. (Luke 19:45 KJV) "And he went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought;" Apostle Paul's advice to us from his epistle in Ephesians 4:26 KJV "Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:" Anger becomes sin when it is wrongly handled, and if it is in the flesh or for self satisfaction. Anger also becomes sin when it's being kept in our hearts. Matthew 5:22 KJV "But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire." - By Ely Roque Sagansay

Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 15:1 KJV
"A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger."

The word "Wrath" is kind of scary to hear especially if it's about God's wrath. God is a God of love but He also is a God of wrath. God loves you no matter who you are, what your background and root of origin is, and no matter how sinful you are. In (Romans 5:8 KJV) it says; "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." But the Bible also warned us of His wrath if we refuse to believe in Him. In (John 3:36 KJV) it says; "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." - By Ely Roque Sagansay
