Finish line. That's what the runners, the sprinters or anyone in a race desired to reach fast and with good breaking records. Six feet below the ground is not our 'finish line'. Your 'finish line' is not what you want to accomplish today, next month, in a year or more. Your 'finish line' is when you come to the point where you can say; "But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. [6] For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. [7] I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: [8] Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing." Basketball has a goal and a ring to shoot, archery has a target range, soccer has a goal and football for touchdowns. Sadly, some ministries, churches and individuals don't have goals and plan for success or program to accomplish something for the year. Some are like my Mom's favorite song which says; "Que sera sera, whatever will be will be…" Get up, arise, and go says the Lord"

Every day, I would always look forward on what I will be doing and humbly entrust everything to God. At the end of the day, I will look back on what I've done and thank and praise God for what He has done through me. I do the same with weeks, months and at the end of the year. There is nothing wrong in looking back with the intention of reflection, evaluation, and praising God for His blessings and goodness.

Whatever you may have done good, and  accomplished in the past will not matter to many already. What you have done wrong and your failures and mistakes is where their eyes are on. But always look forward and upwards, and do all things for the glory of God.
