“I Give Thanks Unto the Lord; For He is Good”

“O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever. 2- Let Israel now say, that his mercy endureth for ever. 3- Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth for ever. 4- Let them now that fear the Lord say, that his mercy endureth for ever. 5- I called upon the Lord in distress: the Lord answered me, and set me in a large place. 6- The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me? 7- The Lord taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me. 8- It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. 9- It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes.” (Psalm 118:1- 5 King James Version)

“23-  This is the Lord's doing; it is marvellous in our eyes. 24- This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. 25- Save now, I beseech thee, O Lord: O Lord, I beseech thee, send now prosperity. 26- Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord: we have blessed you out of the house of the Lord. 27- God is the Lord, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar. 28- Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee. 29- O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.” (Proverbs 118:23- 29 KJV)

“… That We May Give Thanks to Thy Holy Name”

“O give thanks unto the LORD; for he isgood; for his mercy endureth for ever. 35- And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, and glory in thy praise. 36- Blessed be the LORD God of Israel for ever and ever. And all the people said, Amen, and praised the LORD.” (I Chronicles 16:34- 36 King James Version)

“So he left there before the ark of the covenant of the LORD Asaph and his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, as every day’s work required: 38- And Obed- edom with their brethren, threescore and eight; Obed-edom also the son of Jeduthun and Hosah to beporters: 39- And Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of the LORD in the high place that was at Gibeon, 40- To offer burnt offerings unto the LORD upon the altar of the burnt offering continually morning and evening, and to do according to all that is written in the law of the LORD, which he commanded Israel; 41- And with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were chosen, who were expressed by name, to give thanks to the LORD, because his mercy endurethfor ever;” ((I Chronicles 16:37- 41 KJV)

“Therefore I Will Give Thanks Unto Thee, O LORD…”

“Therefore I will give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and I will sing praises unto thy name.” (II Samuel 22:50 King James Version)

“Then on that day David delivered first this psalm to thank the LORD into the hand of Asaph and his brethren. 8- Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people. 9- Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works. 10- Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD. 11- Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually. 12-
Remember his marvellous works that he hath done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth; 13-
O ye seed of Israel his servant, ye children of Jacob, his chosen ones.” (I Chronicles 16:7- 13 KJV)

"Let Us Come Before His Presence with Thanksgiving"

“It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:2 To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,3 Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.4 For thou, Lord, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.5 O Lord, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.6 A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.” (Psalm 92:1- 6 King James Version)

“O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.3 For the Lordis a great God, and a great King above all gods.4 In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.5 The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.” (Psalm 95:1- 6 KJV)

Happy Birthday Ana Ivanovic

“But in Everything by Prayer and Supplication with Thanksgiving Let Your Requests be Made Known unto God”

“1- Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints. 2- Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King. 3- Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.” (Psalm 149:1- 3 King James Version)

“Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7- And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 8- Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” (Philippians 4:6- 8 KJV)

"But is Abundant Also by Many Thanksgivings Unto God..."

"6- But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.7- Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

8- And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: 9- (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever. 10- Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;) 11- Being enriched in everything to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.

12- For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God; 13- Whiles by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection unto the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men; 14- And by their prayer for you, which long after you for the exceeding grace of God in you. 15-Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift." (2 Corinthians 9:6- 15 KJV)
