Mi Daily Devotion

(Matthew 6:1- 2) “1- Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. 2- Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.” We must be a blessing to others or say some encouraging words and do good works. We can be an effective testimony for Christ for the present day publicans. Is your life different when you’re at home than when you’re at work, when you’re at church or when you’re with your friends? Do you act like a man or a woman with an iron mask? Do you know the person that is behind that iron masks? You see the mask, but not the real face of a person behind the mask. You can mask yourself in your giving, in your service to God, in your worship and even in your common personal interest as a student, business person or minister. It depends on how you acts and re-acts as a Christian. All these could be covered in one (1) umbrella- “Integrity”. We must live and die with dignity and integrity. King Solomon wrote; “Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, than he that is perverse in his lips, and is a fool.” (Proverbs 19:1)
