Mi Daily Devotion
(Proverbs 17:17) “A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.” FRIENDSHIP… It’s general in terms of relationship, wide in its scope, and sometimes complicated. Friendship could be a roller coaster ride because it will either break your relationship or keep the relationship stronger. We should take our relationship in a direction where we could be closer to God and with our brethren in the Lord. We should love them, pray for them and be there for them in any way we can. “Iron sharpeneth iron;” Do you share your wisdom and knowledge, positive things and ideas to your friends? Do you care for them, share your blessings and tried to be a comfort to your friends? Who should be the Christian’s best friends? The body of Christ should avoid cliché instead be open to friendship with everybody, pray for each other and fellowship with one another. Is your pastor, church or friends can be trusted to share with your personal problems and confidential issues? We should maintain love, trust, understanding and being open and available to our friends and brethren. As the song says; “No one ever cared for me like Jesus, there’s no other friend so kind as He…” King Solomon wrote; “A man that hath friends must show himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.” (Proverbs 18:24)
