A Place of “No More…”

“1- Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2- In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3- And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. (John 14:1- 3)

The phrase from what Jesus said; “…that where I am, there ye may be also.” It’s the Words of encouragement from the Lord Jesus Christ.  It’s a promised of a place in heaven, a protection for eternity, and a promised of provision. The song “Ten Thousand Years” was born due to the emotional and spiritual struggles that I went through. The song says; “Ten thousand years in heaven with Jesus we’ll just be started, Ten thousand years with friends and loved ones and heaven too. Ten thousand years of love and goodness all throughout eternity, Ten thousand years, ten thousand years. Ten thousand years… of joy and gladness. In heaven we’ll sing glory to our God. We’ll sing and praise the name of Jesus all throughout eternity, Ten thousand years; ten thousand years...” Imagine a place in heaven where we will be with Jesus for eternity

John wrote; “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” (Revelation 21:4)

Your Money is Now Ready or Available

27- My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28- And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.”

“Your Money is Now Ready or Available…” was the phrase from a company ads in my email. It sounds great, enticing to open the email, and check it out; but its not true. It’s a bogus or could be a “Fly by Night” company. It could be a loan, a deceiver or a spam from the other side of the world. Millions of people have been deceived and made believed of this scam. Jesus promised us of salvation, of joy and peace, and supplication; but we either refuse to trust Him or ignore His Words.

Apostle Paul wrote; “19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. “

He Paid Off Our Debts…

“26- The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. 27- Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.” (Matthew 18:26- 27)

Whether we like it or not, we will all be standing before God to give an account, and it can be through death or the rapture. One thing for sure, we will pay what we owe God. It would be in hell for eternity if you’re not saved. But Jesus paid for all our debts on the cross. The truth about other people’s mind set is that they are more concern of their debts here on earth than the debts that Christ paid for our freedom more than 2,000 years ago. The Bible in the book of Romans chapter eight verse two it says; “- For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.”

Jesus said; “32- Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me:” (Matthew 18:32)

“Go and Preach...”

“18- For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.” (I Corinthians 1:18)

We should actually take this not as responsibility or duty, but as God given opportunity, and honor to be entrusted by God of His Word and His work. The calling of God to the disciples to go and preach the gospel to every creature was the same calling that Jesus placed in our shoulders. It is indeed an honor with great responsibilities to carry or obey His command for us to “GO”. The best way to make an impact to your world is to lead them to the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus commands; "19- Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20- Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world." Amen.

Tough Times!

“12- Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 13- But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.” (I Peter 4:12-13)

Chuck Swindoll made a comparison and study on (I John 1:9 and Galatians 6:8). And this is true to many homes and individuals. Mr. Swindoll said; “We teach our children (I John 1:9) ‘If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.’ which may tempt them to coast on grace.” And Mr. Swindoll said that “If we teach them (I John 1:9) we must also teach them (Galatians 6:8), ‘For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.’ The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction.” (“When the Going Gets Tough”- Joe Stowell). Today’s tough times could be caused by personal, by the public or the government’s bad decisions or judgment.

Notice Apostle Peter’s advice to every believers; “15- But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters. 16- Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.” (I Peter 4:15- 16)

Prosperity in the Philippines, Poverty in the USA

While the USA, especially Detroit and the whole of Michigan are struggling economically; the Philippines which used to be a 3rd world country is enjoying it's success economically, it's freedom of religion beyond the world's imaginations, and political stability. The USA influenced The Philippines spiritually, educationally, politically, and culturally... But the Philippines enjoys its success in the whole of Asia while the world and the USA are struggling. Their secrets...? it's not a secret anymore because it used to be the USA's status. And we will talk more about it. The USA must go back to where it used to be: Open the schools for prayer and religious practices, let the Bible be teach in schools, value formation for police, military, and government officials. And this must be shared to the community. We also must STOP abortion, and get back to traditional marriage. We must support and stand with Israel and stop supporting those countries that are unstable in their stand for us and with us. I can assure you; we will be respected and great again. I would not be surprise if Donald Trump or Paris Hilton will invest in the Philippines instead of putting their wealth to our used to be prosperous country. While the Philippines is enjoying their surpluses in different departments of their government; the USA is struggling with its more than 16 trillion dollars debt. The lack of leadership, the lack of education, some of its citizens being dependent to the government, and the decline of moral values played a big role in our decline. We need to stand united as a nation, we need to be in the fear of God, and be open minded. Repent, Re-start, Remain faithful to God, in our (USA) constitution, and the Word of God.

The Race to Run

The Race to Run

“24- Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. 25- And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. 26- I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: 27- But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.” (I Corinthians 9:24- 27)

Opposition plays a big part as you run the race for Jesus. We must expect obstacles, bad news, and odd issues in life. The road could be rough, there will be ups and down, we must expect a turnaround or detour, but we must also expect something great ahead of us. The Word of God says; “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” (Hebrews 12:2)

Your Life is the Reflection of What is Inside...

“23- Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. 24- Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee. 25- Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. 26- Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. 27- Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.” (Proverbs 4:23- 27)

Your life as a Christian is a reflection of what is inside of you- the changed man. Charles R. Swindoll wrote; “As Christians we live a life that is different- morally excellent, ethically beautiful. It’s called a holy life. And God honors that. Because it’s like He is…” (Wisdom for the Way)

Let me share some of the things that I believe will be helpful to all of us as Christians. Our text shows us an outline on how we can check our Christian living from the inside out. It identifies what’s in our heart by the reactions of our daily Christian life.

MI Daily Devotion: Hope For a Broken Heart

Hope For a Broken Heart

Hope For a Broken Heart

“The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.” (Psalm 51:17)

According to Dr. McNair Wilson; “Perhaps the greatest psychological, spiritual and medical need that all people have is the need for hope.” (Hope for Each Day)

A broken heart can be the caused for several reasons. Many of them are beyond our control while some were because of our own doing. We may have a broken hearts because: 1- We are in desperate need of love. 2- We see sin in our midst. 3- We have a righteous indignation. 4- We were rejected by someone for something or by someone special. 5- We get disappointed due to circumstances and problems. 6- We have unanswered prayers. 7- Our hearts are broken for the lost world.

Jesus is the only hope and the hope of every broken spirit.  “18-The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. 19- The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.”(Psalm 34:18- 19)

“What If It Will Not Grow?

“17- Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: 18- Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.” (Habbakkuk 3:17- 18 KJV)

I never heard a farmer planting a seed, and thinking or complaining, and making negative remarks such as; “The seed may not grow...” We don’t question the process or the result. Our main focus is to exercise the process, and be faithful in cultivating and in watering the seedlings.

Can you rejoice in the Lord in spite of difficulties? Will you still serve Him even when the ministry is not going in the direction that you wanted it to be? Do you have difficulties in the work of the Lord ?  Remember, our job and responsibilities is to obey, fulfill our duties, and to love the Lord, be faithful to HIM... because the results belongs to Him.

Dangerous Time

Mi Daily Devotion

Dangerous Time

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.” (II Timothy 3:1)

Apostle Paul saw the future in this verse as he literally experienced it in his times. No doubt about it; we are all living in the most dangerous and perilous times in human history. We cannot deny the fact that we are always in danger even if we’re under our own roof. We have fear in our lives because of what’s going on in every corner of the world. Living in a secured and wealthy environment will not give us the assurance to keep us from any dangers such as physical and spiritual sickness, accident, death or financial insolvent. God’s protection to His children does not mean that we are free from any dangerous situations.

Apostle Paul used the words, “…in the last days perilous times shall come.” “The last days” could mean from his time, during our time, and the time to come. One of the dangers that I’m afraid of as a pastor is something within me. It’s the danger of losing my passion for the lost souls, losing my passion to preach the Word of God, losing my passion and my tears as I stand in the pulpit. What could be worst if I lost my passion to touch and influence lives? Notice the heart of a man who was in the brink of danger and death. (Acts 20:31) “Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.”

Be Faithful to God

MI DAILY DEVOTION

Be Faithful to God

“O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.” (Isaiah 25:1)

People will put their trust to a friend, and some were faithful unto the end, but believers must put their trust in God and be faithful to Him. You stand for what is right and for the truth, and keep doing that which is right. Jesus said; “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. “ (Matthew 6:33) Jesus Christ expects every Christians to put Him first in their life and He wanted you to identify yourself with the Lord.,
