Love- The Cure for Hate

“6- For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7- For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 8- But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5: 6- 8 KJV)

The love of God that was shed abroad in the believer’s heart is one of the reasons why there is balanced in this sinful, hateful and wicked world.

Lydia Maria Child said, “The cure for all the ills and wrongs, the cares, the sorrows and the crimes of humanity, all lie in that one word ‘love’, it is the divine vitality that everywhere produces and restores life.”

“Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.” (I John 3: 16 KJV)
