In the United States of America, "equity" is a real state or mortgage term that the home owners' wanted to hear when their homes is paid off, the value went up, or it's on positive side. But king Solomon in this verse has a different perspective when he wrote this portion of the book of proverbs. He was talking about the benefit of God's wisdom and the purpose of the book of Proverbs.- Proverbs 2:9 KJV Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea , every good path.
