The mandate has not changed, it's the same since the Lord Jesus Christ first commanded His disciples. It was to go and evangelize, to teach and disciple them, and baptize them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. If you don't do all these, you missed the point, and you are disobedient to His will and His Word as ministers or pastor.
The Lord's command; "Matthew 28:18-20 KJV
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. [19] Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: [20] Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen."
