The Word of Our God Shall Stand Forever
“5-
And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all
flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it. 6- The
voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the
goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field: 7- The grass withereth, the
flower fadeth: because the spirit of the LORD bloweth upon it: surely the
people is grass. 8- The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our
God shall stand for ever.” (Isaiah 40: 5- 8 KJV)
“I
believe the Bible is the best gift God has ever given to man. All the good from
the Savior is communicated to us through this Book.” (Abraham Lincoln)
“I
believe a knowledge of the Bible without a college course is more valuable than
a college course without a Bible.” (William Lyon Phelps, former professor at
Yale University)
Our
daily goal must be to gain spiritual dependence on God’s Word for daily
Christian living. We need to grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and
Savior.
“7-
I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I
shall have learned thy righteous judgments. 8- I
will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly. 9-BETH. Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by
taking heed thereto according to thy word.” (Psalms 119:7- 9 KJV)

A Simple Step to Salvation
“For God sent not his Son into the world
to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” (John 3:17
KJV)
A simple step will get you to heaven
from where you are. It’s as simple as ABC’s from the Bible. This will help you
know how to have eternal life in heaven.
Accept: Accept that you are a sinner. “As it is
written, There is none righteous, no, not one:” “For all have sinned, and come short of
the glory of God;” “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life
through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 3:10; 3:23; 6:23 KJV) Accept the forgiveness of your
sins Jesus’ offered at the cross. And accept Him as your Savior and Lord of
your life.
Believe: Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord. Believe
that Jesus died for your sins on the cross. He was buried, and after 3 days was
rose from the dead. “That if thou shalt confess
with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath
raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” (Romans 10:9- 13 KJV). “But as many
as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them
that believe on his name:” (John
1:12 KJV)
Confess: Confess your sins to God. You ask the Lord to forgive you of your
sins, and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness. (I John 1: 8- 10; Acts 3:19, 8:22, II Peter 3:9)

Prayer- Is it a Habit or to Communicate?"
“But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet,
and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and
thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the
heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father
knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.” (Matthew 6:6- 8 KJV)
Prayer is practiced universally, and intentionally.
Every religious denomination has different beliefs, practice, doctrine, and
understanding on prayer. It is the life of every religion and Christians. It’s
one of the religious practices to many religions that they cannot live and
exist without… It is the heart of many religious groups, but to some; it’s just
another habit. To the helpless, it’s their only way of release or it’s a means
to a total catharsis. To every believer; it is the only way wherein we could
communicate and express our love, our heartache, and our needs to God. Apostle
Paul advised us to “Pray without ceasing”
Prayer is from your heart to God’s heart, it is from
your room to God’s throne. Pray Today!
Jesus said; “This people draweth nigh
unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is
far from me.” (Matthew 15:8 KJV)

Heaven- The Place to Be…
“Let not your heart be
troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me…” (John 14:1- 6 KJV)
Jesus Spoke Positively About Our Troubled Hearts
In verse one, Jesus said; “Let not your
heart be troubled…” Our hope rises, and our faith is strengthened as we
exercise, and observe positively what Jesus said about the trouble we are in.
Jesus Spoke About the Promised of Heaven
It’s Not a Common House.
In
verse 2 Jesus said; “In my Father's house are
many mansions:” We will be joint heirs of God’s abode- our Father’s
house.
The Condition of Our Home in Heaven- It is beyond our imagination.
The Comfort in Our Home in Heaven- It is filled with God’s blessings and God’s presence. Verse 3- “…and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye
may be also.”
Jesus Spoke of His Presence and the Presence of God the Father in
Heaven
The place is filled with praise and
power. We will please the Father up there in heaven for eternity.

God’s Anointed
“46 My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but
this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.” (Luke 7:46 KJV)
Matthew Henry wrote; “1. How highly he
magnifies God’s gracious vouchsafements to him (v. 5): "Thou preparest
a table before me; thou hast provided for me all things pertaining both to
life and godliness, all things requisite both for body and soul, for time and
eternity:’’ such a bountiful benefactor is God to all his people; and it
becomes them abundantly to utter his great goodness, as David here, who
acknowledges, (1.) That he had food convenient, a table spread, a cup filled,
meat for his hunger, drink for his thirst. (2.) That he had it carefully and
readily provided for him. His table was not spread with any thing that came next
to hand, but prepared, and prepared before him. (3.) That he was not
stinted, was not straitened, but had abundance: "My cup runs over,
enough for myself and my friends too.’’ (4.) That he had not only for
necessity, but for ornament and delight: Thou anointest my head with oil.
Samuel anointed him king, which was a certain pledge of further favor; but this
is rather an instance of the plenty with which God had blessed him, or an
allusion to the extraordinary entertainment of special friends, whose heads
they anointed with oil.”

The Benefits of God’s Children
“5- Thou preparest a table before me
in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup
runneth over. 6- Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my
life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.” (Psalm 23: 5- 6 KJV)
The Prepared Table
Table is a picture of work. In
an office you see paper works, and other things that need to be done or
accomplish. It may also be a table filled with blessings. Whatever we have in
our table, the Lord gave it to us for His honor and glory. The Lord is in
charge of everything in our life.
The Presence of Our Lord
King David recognized the presence of
both his enemies and the Shepherd of his endangered soul. The enemies were
there to ridicule, persecute, and to destroy, but in the presence of the Lord
are blessings, goodness, mercy, and joy.
The Power and Authority on God’s Anointed
Verse 5- “…thou anointest my head with
oil; my cup runneth over.” The Bible says; “But ye shall receive power after
that Holy Ghost is come upon you…” Let the
Lord shower you with His countless blessings and be a channel of blessing.

Who Needs Faith Anyways?
Who Needs Faith
Anyways?
“Wherefore? Because
they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they
stumbled at that stumblingstone;” (Romans 9:32 KJV)
What is faith? What can you accomplish with
your faith? Who needs faith? Why exercise faith when things are going great and
well? Who needs faith when you have everything in your hands anyways? Why live
by faith when your bank account is fine? Why step and walk by faith when you
have everything under control, you have everything in your hands and you have
the power to turn your own wheel to the direction you wanted to? Everything and
the business may be doing well, the stock market is on the rise, and you’re
healthy as a cow? But how about your faith, is it strong?
But this could be different from the
Israelites and the leaders of the team of Joshua and Caleb. They must and they
should have exercised their faith… “27- And they told him, and said, We came
unto the land whither thou sentest us, and surely it floweth with milk and
honey; and this is the fruit of it. 28- Nevertheless the people be strong that
dwell in the land, and the cities are walled, and very great: and moreover we saw
the children of Anak there.” (Numbers 13:27- 28 KJV)

"What do you want?"
A Psalm of David. The LORD is my
shepherd; I shall not want. 2- He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he
leadeth me beside the still waters. (Psalms 23:1- 2 KJV)
"What do you want?" It’s a question you would not
ask King David because you will get this answer; “The
LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.” It’s true for me and to many Christians.
The Shepherd of shepherds is the one who made King David’s life filled with
satisfaction, contentment, and joy. Those who are living in want and discontentment
don’t have the LORD as their Shepherd. Ask Him to come into your heart today
and make Him the Shepherd of your life.
What Psalm 23:1 to King
David is Philippians 4:11 to the great Apostle Paul when he said; “Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have
learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.” (KJV)

Fools for Christ...!
“18- Let no man deceive himself. If any
man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he
may be wise.” (I Corinthians 3:18 KJV)
Sometimes foolishness can lead to sin and pain to
others. We can be fools for nothing or be fools for the Lord Jesus Christ. Or
we can be fools for Satan or be a fool for God. Be a fool for the Word of God
or be a fool for the sin of the world and its pleasures. We can be a fool in
the sight of God or be a fool in the sight of man.
If you please the world, people will say something
negative or will criticize you anyways, and they will do the same when you
please your Lord and Master.
The wisest man on earth wrote; “5- A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man
of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:” (Proverbs 1:5 KJV)

God's Healing Power
“4- Surely he hath borne
our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of
God, and afflicted. 5- But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was
bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and
with his stripes we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:4- 5 KJV)
It’s not a wrong if you believe in healing because
the Bible is filled of God’s demonstrations of God’s healing power. God showed
us how He used His prophets and servants in healing His children by faith. Even
the Lord Jesus Christ performed miracles of healing to different people, in
different places, and in different occasions.
He is able to heal us of our
physical sickness, spiritual sickness, emotional sickness and other terminal
sickness. We have read over and over in the Bible how the Lord has healed
people who were sick physically. God healed people like blind Bartimaeus who came
to Jesus for healing. We need to take a step of faith and fully trust God. The
Bible says; “And a great multitude followed him,
because they saw his miracles which he did on them that were diseased.” (John
6:2 KJV)

Surrender to the Potter's Hand!
“6- O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this
potter? Saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are ye
in mine hand, O house of Israel.” (Jeremiah 18:23 KJV)
We surrender to God in our extremity, in our
prosperity, by the leading and the conviction of the Holy Spirit. The
Christians are the only group of people where the more they surrender, the more
they win, and the more they win, the stronger they trust God.
We want to win but we resist God. It’s easier for
the clay to submit and surrender to the Potter’s hand than for men to submit
and surrender under the mighty hand of God.
Apostle Paul said; “1- I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the
mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy,
acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” (Romans 12:1 KJV)

Listen to What God is Saying
“2- Arise, and go down to the potter’s house, and
there I will cause thee to hear my words.” (Jeremiah 18:2 KJV)
Notice what God was saying in verse 2 “Arise” – it speaks
of faith. “…and go down”- speaks of humility and obedience. As you come in His presence be it in your
private worship, in your prayer and Bible reading. Or in your public worship as
you come in His presence at your home church or wherever for worship; you
exercise your faith, humility, and obedience to God. Before you can hear God
speaks; it is of importance that your faithfulness in your private and public
worship is consistent with your daily living. We need to exercise these three:
faith, obedience to Him, and humility. Surely, God’s blessings will be out of
question.
“5- Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the
elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility:
for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. 6- Humble yourselves
therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.” (I
Peter 5: 5- 6 KJV)

The Meaning of the Word Gospel
“3- For I delivered unto
you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins
according to the scriptures;
4- And that he was buried, and that he
rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”
(I Corinthians 15:3- 4 KJV)
What is the definition or the meaning of the word Gospel? Apostle Paul defined gospel as
the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ according to the
Scriptures. Believing on what Christ did on the cross more than 2,000 years ago
for eternal life is foolishness to the unbelieving world. Believing in Christ
for eternal life sounds impossible for many. But that’s what the Bible says… It
was because of the finished work of Christ.
“8- For by grace are ye
saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9- Not
of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8- 9 KJV)
