You Have to Delight, Desire, and Exercise Discipline

Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.” (Psalms 37:4 KJV)

What is your desire? Do you have temporary or lifetime desires? People have desire, but they don’t have discipline. You may desire something but if you don’t have the discipline to get to where you want to be in life, it could just be a wishful thinking. Do you have discipline on how you should spend your time, your money, and your resources?

We can have our desires fulfilled in our life if we learn to delight in God. The words delight, desires and discipline are inseparable. We can exercise or use those 3 words in our eating habits, sleeping habits, working habits, spending habits, reading habits, praying habits, Bible reading habits. A good Christian will delight in a good God, and be disciplined for a good cause, so a good desire will come to pass.
We need to discipline ourselves to delight in the Lord and desire for the Lord.

Apostle Paul wrote; “Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.” (II Corinthians 9: 24 KJV)
