Christians who loves the traditional values, as well as the family loving people who read and heard of the Nike cutting off the contract of Manny Pacquiao may just look at it as personal or business on the part Manny; but I look at it as an attack to traditional marriage and Christian values. Nike was not hesitant of dropping Manny Pacquiao's contact with them after Manny's controversial comments against same sex issues.
Although Nike's business contract with Manny Pacquiao and vice versa are non of my business; I believe it's my business to inform the public that if carefully scrutinized- the reason beyond Nike's abrupt decision in cutting off Manny's contract was because they are more leaning on the offended side. I personally will not patronize Nike and all their products. And it's not because of Manny, but the obvious stance of Nike on the said issue.
If Christians will not stand against Nike right now; other sponsors, companies, businesses will do the same to Christian artists, athletes, talents, etc. in the future who will not agree with them. And Manny's case will be set up as a pattern for them to follow. - You decide and it's all up to you!
