Proverbs 16:2 KJV
All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the Lord weigheth the spirits.
We must put spiritual distinction between spirit, spirits, Holy Spirit, Holy Ghost, ghosts, and evil spirits. We know God is a Spirit, and we must worship Him in Spirit and in truth. We must not be deceived by the spirit of the antiChrist, and other so called spirit in the world.

Test every spirit, be careful, you might be dealing with the spirits of the antichrist- 1 John 4:3 KJV And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
