We all love to carry up our own chair filled with good deeds, accomplishments, beauty or something positive about us. “Praise” in a lower or in human level is not only have danger of getting into our head and can develop pride, make us be arrogant and boastful, it's very selfish too.

All the praise and the glory belongs to the Lord God Almighty.- 1 Chronicles 16:34-36 KJV
O give thanks unto the Lord ; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever. [35] And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, and glory in thy praise. [36] Blessed be the Lord God of Israel for ever and ever. And all the people said, Amen, and praised the Lord .
Sometimes “Praises to God” demands our sacrifices- it happened to Abraham. (Genesis chapter twenty two)
Our “Praises” must be to God and to Him alone…- Isaiah 42:8 KJV I am the Lord : that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.
