Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

“4- As for our redeemer, the LORD of hosts is his name, the Holy One of Israel.” (Isaiah 47:4 KJV)

God is the One in charge of everything, and in every season. Apostle Paul said; “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” (Romans 8:37 KJV) Jesus conquered the kingdom Herod the king who tried to kill Him although the evil king killed thousands of babies and children during his reign. Jesus was born in a manger with these titles or names over His head: Redeemer, LORD, the LORD of hosts, Holy, Holy One of Israel.

I wrote this song few years ago, and the message of the song has something to do with God as our LORD of hosts; “In every odd of life, there is mercy; we take the step of faith in His grace. Giving Him our pain and sorrow, trusting Him of our tomorrow;
Jesus gives us rest beyond compare.

God prepares our heart for His glory, as we humbly take up His cross;
Serve and praise the King of glory, tell of His great love story,
Jesus came to die for you and me.

Jesus filled our heart with His Spirit; with His love and joy and perfect peace,
We are more than over comers, in His power we are the victors;
King of kings and He’s the LORD of Hosts…” Indeed, the Lord is the One who fight for us and with us. He is our defender in every odd and uncontrolled circumstance.

Verse to Ponder: (I Samuel 1:3) 3- And this man went up out of his city yearly to worship and to sacrifice unto the LORD of hosts in Shiloh. And the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, the priests of the LORD, were there. (KJV)
