Proverbs 14:2 KJV
He that walketh in his uprightness feareth the Lord : but he that is perverse in his ways despiseth him.

Despiseth is the sad word you may hear from the people who refused the truth of God and His Word. It's heartbreaking to hear some elderly and adults who despised our youth. We may also despise the wisdom of the aged, but the consequences of despising is beyond our strength and power to resist and to handle. Its only by the grace of God, are we able to overcome them. Proverbs 13:13 KJV
Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed: but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded.
