"Oil" is a picture of the Holy Spirit, God's blessings, and God's presence in the Bible. Oil was used for anointing and for blessings, and during worships in the Old Testament times. There's a short chorus that became the favorite song that we sang in the church I used to pastored in the Philippines, it says; "Give me oil in my lamp keep it burning, give oil in my lamp I pray, give me oil in my lamp keep it burning, keep it burning 'till the end of the day." Do you have that oil?- Exodus 29:21 KJV And thou shalt take of the blood that is upon the altar, and of the anointing oil, and sprinkle it upon Aaron, and upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon the garments of his sons with him: and he shall be hallowed, and his garments, and his sons, and his sons' garments with him.
