“Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily.” (Matthew 1:19 KJV) You can feel the emotional and mental torture that Joseph went through in the midst of what God had bid him do. Of course, Mary may have the same feelings, but it would not be as much questions as what Joseph may have had in his sound mind.
