Is Corona Virus a Man Made Plaque or God's Pestilence?
We were informed that Corona Virus started in China. Or, was it made in China? China is a Communist and Socialist Country. It is a godless country- it means the Chinese government forbids total freedom of worship. They control religion and religious practices, and public worship. Christianity has no place in China, and that's the reason why there are underground churches in China; because Christians are persecuted, and Bible is forbidden. I am not surprised if evil things will happen in China.
May be Corona Virus is from the hands of God! (Jeremiah 28:8 KJV) "The prophets that have been before me and before thee of old prophesied both against many countries, and against great kingdoms, of war, and of evil, and of pestilence." We reap the consequences of our personal sins. Some countries and kingdoms will reap the corporate consequences of their sins in the form of God's judgment and its sad if it happens.
We heard of Moses and the children of Israel during the time of Pharaoh in the book of Exodus. The judgment on Babylonian Empire and the Medo- Persia (present Iran) in the book of Daniel. And the destruction of Jerusalem during the time of the Roman Empire when Titus the great destroyed the nation with his armies in 62 AD. We can talk all day about the past and present generations, and how God put His hands of judgment through catastrophes on the wicked and rebellious lands and countries.
Every time pestilence is mentioned in the Bible; it either will come with sword or famines. It means conflicts, war, and starvation or shortages of food supplies comes with it. Why? Obviously, no one wants to work in wartime. No one wants to buy and sell when death is at your doorstep, and no one wanted to plant and harvest when pestilence is making noise in the Community. (Psalm 91:3 KJV) "Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence." Indeed, Corona Virus is making noise all over the world and it becomes annoying to our ears.
People becomes hopeless and fearful- thus they hoard, they think negatively, and others will even commit crime to survive. I pray that we will stand together and pray together. President Donald Trump was right when he called the nation to seek God's face in prayer when he declared last Sunday (March 15) as National Day of Prayer. King Solomon did it during his time. (2 Chronicles 20:9 KJV) "If, when evil cometh upon us, as the sword, judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we stand before this house, and in thy presence, (for thy name is in this house,) and cry unto thee in our affliction, then thou wilt hear and help."
Many of the people in Western World and those who could practice their freedom of religion may have watched the Ten Commandments on Television or Movie, or may have heard of the plaque of Egypt during the time of Moses in Sunday School or preaching. (Psalm 78:49-50 KJV)
He cast upon them the fierceness of his anger, wrath, and indignation, and trouble, by sending evil angels among them. [50] He made a way to his anger; he spared not their soul from death, but gave their life over to the pestilence; (It was awful and dreadful) just to think of it.
Well that's what happens when a Country such as China turned their back to God. But we believe in God and we have the fear of God. I thank God for our president and vice president who are God fearing leaders. I praise God for Dr. Ben Carson who always talks about God without reservation.
As Christians, we can trust God, and entrust ourselves, this country, and our fear to God. Notice what the Bible says; (Psalm 91:1-11 KJV) He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. [2] I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. [3] Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. [4] He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. [5] Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; [6] Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. [7] A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. [8] Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. [9] Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; [10] There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. [11] For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways."
Please believe in what God can do, and take your eyes off of the pestilence- the evil, harmful and the deadly Corona Virus.
If you are a Politician, please STOP politicizing and using the pestilence for your Political advantage. Let's Stand Together, Pray Together, and be in this Together! God bless us all!
