The Fivefold Purposes in I John

"That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;" (1 John 1:1 KJV)

1-  "That you may have fellowship with us..." (1: 3)
2-   "That your joy may be full..." (1: 4)
3- " That you sin not." ( 2: 1)
4- "That you may know that he have eternal life. (5: 13)
5- "That you may believe on the name of the Son of God. " (5:  13)

My Redeemer Liveth

"For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day." (2 Timothy 1:12 KJV)

We can be sure of our salvation because our Savior is alive and He is God. The saving grace of God was wrapped in the unchanging love of the Father through the death of His Son- the Lord Jesus Christ. The shed blood is the river of love which flows from Calvary to humanity from generations to generations.

"25- For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:  26- And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:  27- Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me. " (Job 19:25-27 KJV)

God's Promises to Joshua

"There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee." (Joshua 1:5 KJV)

At the end of the day, God will always be there on the top of your career, on the top of your life, on the top of your success and will always be on the top of everything . He is even on the top of your circumstances and your enemy- the devil. I love the encouraging words of God to Joshua after the death of Moses.- "Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest." (Joshua 1: 9

It's God's Talents for You

"20- And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. 21- His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.' (Matthew 25:20- 21 KJV)

What are your treasures? The question could be who are your treasures? Do you manage your treasures according to God’s perspective, according to God’s will for us, and according to His Word? We cannot afford to waste another time, talent and treasure while we are here on earth living for our Jesus. Sometimes, if I looked back from my younger years, and would think of how much time and resources I have wasted as a youth; I get disappointed, and I felt bad for myself although I know it’s wrong to live in the past. But it happens every day, every hour and every minute. Young people are not just wasting their time but talents and resources. I believe that every Christian should know, memorize and live God’s Word.

Jesus said; “19- Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20- But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21- For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” (Matthew 6:19- 21 KJV)

"Call Unto Me..."

"2- Thus saith the  Lord  the maker thereof, the  Lord  that formed it, to establish it; the  Lord  is his name; 3- Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not."(Jeremiah 33:2, 3 KJV)

This was not the words of someone who happens to be in power or authority. It was not a promised from  someone influential or in politics; but a promise from our Lord and maker. He is asking us for one thing with a greater thing in return. He is asking us to "call unto Him..." for an answer to our problems. He is challenging us to pray, so we can see great and mighty things which are beyond our understanding and expectations. He wants to work in us and through us, so we could be His living miracle in the midst of unbelieving and darkened world. Call Him today!

"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:" (Matthew 7:7 KJV)

Christ Centered Life

You can't Live a Christ- Centered unless you accept Christ first and foremost in your heart as your Savior and Lord.

"Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing." (John 15:4, 5 KJV)

From the Top of Our Heads, to Our Hearts, in Our Hands, and in Our Whole Being... Jesus must be in the center.

"For all this I considered in my heart even to declare all this, that the righteous, and the wise, and their works, are in the hand of God: no man knoweth either love or hatred by all that is before them. Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest."(Ecclesiastes 9:1, 10 KJV)

Abiding in Christ Means Living a Christ Centered Life.

Who Would Care Anyways?

Yes, who will care if you have Masters, Phd's, a good savings and a vast of wealth?

Who would care if you are an accomplished businessman or businesswoman, an accomplished minister or community organizer?

Who will care enough if you're in need or you're discourage, depress or insolvent?

Who would care if you're driving a luxury car, living in a 7 bedrooms house or respected by millions?

Will they care if you're famous, friendly and accommodating?

Let me share to you the prayer of David in the book of Psalms: "When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they privily laid a snare for me. I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul. I cried unto thee, O Lord : I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living. Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I." (Psalms 142:3-6 KJV)
