“12- Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial
which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 13- But
rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his
glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.” (I Peter
4:12- 13 KJV)
Today’s
trials and temptations could be caused by personal undesirable decisions in
life. What you may have been going through could be because of the people’s bad
decisions or judgment. It could be an outcome of set of events in your life. Or
it may have been because of the devil’s ways and means of destroying you. If it’s
from the Lord, then you have the Lord’s blessings. Apostle Peter warned us not
to be in this scenario and position. We must rejoice not because we were tried;
but because we become partakers of Christ’s sufferings. And also we have a
promised from God of His exceeding joy.
Life
can be complicated, and sometimes events in life and people around us are
undesirable; but Apostle Peter advised us to stay in the Lord’s direction and
keep our eyes on Him. At the end of the day, it’s all about God, and it’s for His
purpose and glory anyways.
Apostle Peter wrote; “15-
But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or
as a busybody in other men's matters. 16- Yet if any man suffer as a Christian,
let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.” (I Peter 4:15-
16 KJV)
