GOD IS FAITHFUL IN KEEPING HIS PROMISES TO HIS CHILDREN

01- 02- 11 MI DAILY DEVOTION (Romans 4:20- 21)
GOD IS FAITHFUL IN KEEPING HIS PROMISES TO HIS CHILDREN
20- “He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; 21- And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.”
What God has promised us, He is able to perform and He is faithful in His Words and His promised to His children in His Word- the Holy bible! Our duties and responsibilities are to trust, obey and claim it in Jesus’ name.
After the fall, the Lord promised mankind of the redeemer, a promised Messiah. (Genesis 3:15) “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.”
After hundreds of years, Apostle Paul talked of the fulfillment of the said promised in (Galatians 4:4- 5) “But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, 5- To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.”
(Genesis 15:4; 18:14) 4- “To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. 14- Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.
Let us notice the command of God to Moses so the Lord could fulfill what He has promised him in behalf of the Israelites. (Exodus 3:21; 12: 35- 36) 21- “And I will give this people favour in the sight of the Egyptians: and it shall come to pass, that, when ye go, ye shall not go empty: Here in theses verses; we have God’s intervention and favour to Moses and the children of Israel. 35- And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment: 36- And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians.”
Joshua in these verses was probably so down, stressed out or so depressed, because of the death of his leader and mentor Moses, the servant of God. (Joshua 1:1- 5) 1- “Now after the death of Moses the servant of the LORD it came to pass, that the LORD spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' minister, saying, 2- Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel. 3- Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses. 4- From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast. 5- There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
