“Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.” Can you reconcile (I John 3: 15) to the teachings of the present day religions, beliefs and practiced? Do you have to learn to hate and to kill or be a murderer to be able to make it to heaven? “Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.” (I John 3:16) Do we have the witness or the love of God in us? Who laid down His life for us sinners? It was the Lord our God who gave His life for us through His death. Do we have the evidence or proof of salvation and God’s love in us? God has set an example for us to follow. It is God’s character to love and He wants for us to love one another and not hate each other. People will know that we are the Lord’s disciples through our love for each other. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
