Mi Daily Devotion

(Genesis 13:6) “And the land was not able to bear them, that they might dwell together: for their substance was great, so that they could not dwell together.”

Do you know what means to be poor and needy and to live in poverty? If you know what it means to be poor and needy and if you have experienced poverty, then I’m positive you could be flexible and content in life. There are those who are humbled by the Lord through the success that God has given them and the blessings of prosperity, but others became greedy, proud and insecure. We are all accountable to God of the blessings and success that He entrusted to us. Unfortunately, this was not true to Lot and not even being put into consideration by many Christians of our time. Even some of the twelve disciples of Jesus was irresponsible in their actions and in their words when they desired to know who would be the greatest among them, not knowing the ways and will of God. The Lord is the one who opens and closed the doors for us and all we have to do is trust His heart. King Solomon wrote; “He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.” (Proverbs 28:26)
