(I Timothy 6:9) “But they that will be rich fall
into temptation and a
snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which
drown men in
destruction and perdition.”
There’s nothing wrong with money and wealth, its our
attitude
toward it that makes the difference. We see families and homes that
are being destroyed for the love of money and power. It’s good to
be rich and
prosperous, but don’t trade your love ones for the sake
of money or for the love
of money. I wish every generous
Christians are weathy and being blessed
financially by the Lord, so
they could help lift up the needy and help build
churches and send
out missionaries. But Christians were gifted by the Lord with
salvation and love in their homes. If you don’t spend quality time
with God,
you may do the same to your family. Apostle Paul has a
good advice for all of
us; “For the love of money is the root of all
evil:
which while some coveted after, they have erred from the
faith, and pierced
themselves through with many sorrows.” (I
Timothy 6:10)
