Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion

Proverbs 8:2 KJV
[2] She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths.

"Standeth" or "stand" can be literal,  physical, moral, or spiritual in the Bible. To stand firm in the Scriptures means to be spiritually firm on what you stand for based on what the Word of God says. We must stand for the good moral values, for what's right and good for our family, and for the church.

I- We must stand for God and His Word- Ezekiel 22:30 KJV [30] And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.

II- We must stand against the high places- Deuteronomy 33:29 KJV [29] Happy art thou, O Israel: who is like unto thee, O people saved by the Lord , the shield of thy help, and who is the sword of thy excellency! and thine enemies shall be found liars unto thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high places.

III- We must stand against the wiles of the devil- Ephesians 6:11 KJV [11] Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Verse to Ponder: 1 Samuel 12:16 KJV [16] Now therefore stand and see this great thing, which the Lord will do before your eyes.
