Wisdom of the Day from Mi Daily Devotion

"My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:" (Proverbs 3:1 KJV)

"...Keep my commandments." If I would share or tell someone an encouraging and challenging words from this phrase or verse, it would be- 'Keep God's commandments and live, love the Lord's commandments and be faithful to it, or expose all of God's commandments through your life and be a testimony to your love ones, friends, and coworkers.' The keeping of God's commandments is more than just reading it, knowing it, and sharing it. It is the living and exercising its precept that matters the most.

What is the main point why we need to keep the Lord's commandments? The Lord gave us the first and the greatest commandments- "Love the Lord thy God... and love your neighbors as yourself." As the song says; "To love the Lord our God is the heartbeat of our mission". (Deuteronomy 6:4- 7)- By Ely Roque Sagansay
