Wisdom of the Day from Mi Daily Devotion

"Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, than he that is perverse in his lips, and is a fool." (Proverbs 19:1 KJV)

"Perverse" or "Crooked" are being practiced by millions of people but not a well known words to many. Some people are practicing the perverse or crooked way of life, but they refused to be called by its words and true meanings. Peer pressure, the pride of being identified with someone influential or just being cool is more important than personal conviction or holiness and righteousness.

Be courageous to stand on your ground with integrity. A legacy that no amount of money can buy. If you have integrity, you can always look at the eyes of your children and the people's eyes with nothing to hide in the back of your mind. If a person is perverse or crooked- at the back of that eyeballs are hidden sin. The Word of God and Christ's forgiveness  is the resolution to a darkened world of sin. (Psalm 119: 11)-By Ely Roque Sagansay
