Word of Wisdom from Mi Daily Devotion
Proverbs 27:1 KJV
"Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth."
Is it sinful to boast? Is boasting appropriate to exercise at church or in reporting or testimony to what God is doing or had been doing in our lives or in the church? The Lord is working in us with the purpose, and one of the purpose is to honor and glorify God; therefore boasting must be in God, of God, and for God. Apostle Paul wrote; "But we will not boast of things without our measure, but according to the measure of the rule which God hath distributed to us, a measure to reach even unto you." (2 Corinthians 10:13 KJV), in this verse; 17- "But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord."- Ely Roque Sagansay
