“5- Likewise,
ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to
another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth
grace to the humble. 6- Humble
yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due
time:” (I Peter 5:5- 6)
If Christians will
have this kind of attitude towards our fellow believers; we would not have to
deal with problems in our churches such as envy, jealousy and divisions.
Oftentimes we talk about the Word of God but live differently from its truth.
We must have the same mind set, the same biblical standard, and the same Lord.
You may walk in the path of the kings, and dignitaries; but don’t forget to
live in humility. Take the words of Apostle Paul from the book of
Romans:
"15- Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and
weep with them that weep. 16- Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not
high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own
conceits." (Romans 12:15, 16 KJV)
