(Joshua 1:8 - 9 KJV)
“8- This
book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate
therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is
written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou
shalt have good success. 9- Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good
courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with
thee whithersoever thou goest.”
It
is very obvious that (Joshua 1:1- 9) was talking about the promised of success
and prosperity. We have here:
1-
The Consistency of the Instructions. God was consistent in His command
to the Israelites.
2-
The Clarity of the Instructions. God made it clear to Joshua and He gave
them a very clear instructions.
3-
The Continuity of the Instructions. God have the same instructions to
every believer all over the world and to every generation. “Be strong and of a
good courage…” And we must read, meditate and live the Word of God.
