“And he saith unto them, Why are ye
fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the
sea; and there was a great calm.”
(Matthew
8:26)
It’s not normal not to have fear, and it’s abnormal to always have
fear. Worry leads to fear; but faith cast away fear. Matthew Henry wrote; “It intimates how pleasing it is to Christ, and of how much
concern it is to ourselves, that we should live without carefulness. It is the
repeated command of the Lord Jesus to his disciples, that they should not
divide and pull in pieces their own minds with care about the world.” (The
Bible Collections)
Jesus
said; “25- Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought
for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your
body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than
raiment? (Matthew 6:25- 34)
