A Revolution or a New Year's Resolution?

"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." (II Corinthians 5:17 King James Version)

When people talked of revolution they would usually think of civil war, a changed in government or do something unconstitutional that may lead to violence or coup d'état.

According to dictionary.com "revolution" means an overthrow or repudiation and the thorough replacement of an established government or political system by the people governed. 2. Sociology. a radical and pervasive change in society and the social structure, especially one made suddenly and often accompanied by violence. Compare social evolution3. a sudden, complete or marked change in something: the present revolution in church architecture.

In the political arena, to start a revolution is either the resolution or an evolution of a new era or new political party and power. It is a sudden changed of political, military, democratic or social power in the government.

The whole world is filled with "New Year's Resolution" during the New Year. A resolution that may lasts for a few month or a year. I wish the whole world will try the Jesus revolution or the Bible's resolution. The Word of God will definitely point us the cross where He bled and died. Let God changed you by trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ for your salvation! (John 3:1- 16)- By Ely Roque Sagansay
