"In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not." (John 1:4- 5 King James Version)
God is Light here on earth and beyond. On the other side of the grave- there will be no darkness for those who come to the Light. Jesus is the Light and in Him there is no darkness at all. Jesus is not a light that we use when needed and He is not the light that will serve those who walk in darkness; He is the only Light of God for the darkened world of sin. (John 1:1- 14)We can't fellowship with Him if we live in darkness? (John 1:3- 7) What does it mean by walking in the light? (I John 3:3- 7) Jesus said; "Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." (Matthew 5:14- 16 KJV)
