Repent or Revenge?

"Say not, I will do so to him as he hath done to me: I will render to the man according to his work." (Proverbs 24:29 King James Version)

Repent or revenge? To repent of our sins does not only involve our humility and being sorry for our sins to God, but also our humility and acceptance of our sins to the offended party or parties. To revenge would mean to put the situation and the issue in our hands and power. But to repent would mean to turn to God from our sins. And it is the Biblical step to get to heaven from where you are for those who have not come to know Jesus in a very personal way. If you don't have a personal relationship with Jesus- you need repentance and faith in Him.

You need to accept Him as your Savior and Lord. "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:" (John 1:12 KJV) We need to put our trust in Jesus and on what He did on the cross more than 2,000 years ago. He died on the cross, He was buried and rose again the 3rd day. "3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 5 And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: 6 After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. 7 After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles."
